When he played against us? well, according to a friend who is a fanatical Villa supporter, his other performances have been of the same standard.. In his words "The way he has played for us, he doesn't even deserve a place on the bench" And just cause it's Friday and I don't have any work.. You know how skysports.com have average ranking for players (not that it's an ultimate indication) but his is 5.2.. We don't have a player in our squad who has lower than 5.7 (which is Smith of course).. We should stay well away, Ireland's past it. I can't belive people say past it for 24 years old. It is insane. If he wasn't on 70k or played as a winger or striker, I'd be ok with taking the risk. But after years of suffering from a disfunctional midfield, I'd be cautious to disrupt that now. People say if it's a loan, then there's no risk. That's not entirely true, because being a new player, chances are he'll get at least 10 games, regardless of his performances.. Tiote is god but I don't think he'll be able to carry another passenger in midfield (bit harsh on Nolan) in those ten games.

Bit surprising.. Wasn't Biabiany regarded as a big talent? Not that I've seen much of him like.. My interest in Serie A (and Italians in general) greatly diminished over the last couple of years.. Bit of a hilarious season this one though.. The usual suspects dropping points left and right, Milan splashing the cash, The Waiter's brief guest appearance in Italian football, Lazio being good etc.. Anyway, I think Pazzini is a great buy, Inter could do with a striker of his type.. Is Kharja any good? He had a stint at Roma and didn't really impress iirc..

Pity, I was hoping PSG would hold until the summer.. It appears there has been some conflict with Kombouare (an idiot of massive proportions).. Sessegnon is a very good, creative player, in contrast to Muntari who doesn't even know his position on the field..

Puncheon has played for Southampton and Millwall (on loan) this season, so wouldn't be able to move again, would he? He can move and he can play.. Puncheon was my favourite player in my MK Dons game on FM a few years back.. Have we been linked with him previously? We've loaned out a winger who looks great in the Championship to get one who doesn't look great in the lower divisions? Am I missing something? He's left-footed though. Imo, LW should be a priority for us, cause Jonas tends to get complacent when he knows he can't be dropped.. In FM Puncheon can play on both wings, in that sense, he'd be a decent cover option..
