I'm honestly amazed that everyone does not know this song, the corner sings it every match. Heron we've got to sing louder mate !! The banners and displays we do are primarily for us, the fans, the team and Rafa, if other folk like them that's great but that's not the reason we do them. I'll admit though that this was made with the intention of having a small pop at our friends down the road ( in my mind anyway). Probably nowt new for West Brom but like Heron said Chelsea will be stunning. Purely for the team, no digs at anyone just this glorious bunch of lads who've battled for everything.

It was terrifying, we thought we'd lost it a few times, it was quite calm everywhere else but the wind was canny strong in the middle. I know what you mean but honestly I love it,if it had just been hanging down straight I reckon it might have looked a bit boring. Cheers for buying stuff and for donating lads.

Had a scheduled meeting this morning and all's good, we got wrong for leaving stuff out and that's it really so these cunts will crack on! Contrary to some reports the owner hasn't said a word , nowt at all. Don't think he cares tbh

The bit about 'the lies' obviously we meant the club but we said it was the press and they bought it !!! We're of the opinion that if we are to be we would have been banned instantly. The person that we deal with at club is smashing and has helped us massively, we've a feeling this person is fighting our corner. We've dealt with quite a few folk at the club and they're good decent people , very enthusiastic about what we de and honestly as of yet they haven't checked or vetoed anything we've done ,BUT you can tell they're all nervous as anything about doing anything wrong. We get the impression bollockings are never far away from him and his henchmen.

Surprisingly we haven't heard a thing, which is very strange. When we got the Rafa display out against Liverpool even before it was taken down we had received a phone call!! Last night and today , nowt !

Ticket office open until 7 tonight as well.

Just been over for a mate, the queue was out the door and 6 staff on, only place I could get two together was south west corner and the lass said not many together left.

Apparently they've sold 7000 and we're giving them more!

It's definitely going to be Mono in the Groat Market, more than likely it will open at 12, same routine as the North terrace ,lots of songs and flags then the 'walk up', up past the Gate past the Irish club and up to the ground . One of our group is meeting the manager tomorrow night to sort out the drink prices and see if we can get any freebies !

Why is The North Terrace out of bound? It's being taken over and the new owners haven't confirmed if they do or don't want the flags and walk from there. Again? Didn't only get taken over earlier this year? Sort off , it had been shut for a while then Heineken and the two lads who ran it opened it up and from what we know it's been a massive success. We just got a call from one of the lads saying that new owners were taking over so could we go and collect our flags and smoke bombs!! It looks like the new bar will be OHSO , it normally doesn't open until 6 but one of the lads knows the boss and he's happy to open it up just for us, just waiting on special drinks prices etc. The walk up should be brilliant from there up to SJP!! As soon as we here anything concrete I'll hoy it up on here.

Lads, we don't want to say too much because we're not sure yet if we're allowed to do what we would like. To put it mildly there will have been nothing like it in a stadium in the U.K. ever! We're trying to raise as much as possible because it's going to cost a lot of money. Like heron said the big caracature type flags and surfers are still professionally produced as are the old shirt flags but the slogans and banners are painted by ourselves and funded internally. If we are not allowed to do what we want ( you can speculate but don't ask ) you can all be assured that the money will still be spent on future displays. We're hoping to have an answer by the end of next week but please don't stop that from you donating , it will still be spectacular but maybe not quite as spectacular as we would like. I'll leave it at that.

No mate, totally separate but we're helping with info on flag manufacturers, pole suppliers etc. Be brilliant if we can get both ends rocking.

I'm sure I speak for the other lads and lasses in the fact that in no way are we personally looking for national exposure in fact the very opposite , we would if possible like to remain largely anonymous. We would like our flags and displays to be covered nationally and hopefully internationally one day but purely just mentioned simply as Newcastle fans not any particular group. Not wanting to annoy anyone but all this talk of branding is ridiculous, we're not looking to sell masses of merchandise and make huge profits we just want to make flags! We're now painting banners and flags ourselves so the money needed is nowhere near what the large surfers and old shirts cost, for example the 'we are united' surfer cost £3200, the Rafa banner in Spanish cost £400 and that includes 30 poles (£250) that can be used again thus reducing the cost of the next banner display significantly. There is talk of producing badges and some prints etc to keep funds flowing and some of the lads in Block V have produced some scarves for fans who stand in this area to buy. Another quiz is being talked about aswell. I can assure you this will not 'fizzle out' as we all have a passion for it and have some ideas that if the club allow will be amazing. Yes we need donations to continue but I'll be amazed if fans say they love the displays but will not donate simply because the name of the group of lads and lasses who make the displays have a shit name ! Again we're totally transparent and are not a closed group and if any of you want to join in all this flag malarkey just get in touch, it's fun and you get to walk down the tunnel every time we go in!!

Lads, we put on displays and get flags made , its really not that important, I'm not crazy on the name but it really doesnt matter, its what we do thats important.

I'll try to be as diplomatic as possible here because TF is not all about one person, others contribute to it and are smashing lads. This all started because MM put the call out after the Spurs game to try to recreate that atmosphere every game. We arranged to meet at the strawberry , I'd never seen any of the others including the TF lads in my life apart from heron who stands not far from me in the corner. The rest is history until this week, I can't lie and say it's been a smooth operation with quite a few very heated arguments about daft things usually started from one source! There was only 2 active lads from the fanzine within our group the rest is made up of roughly 10-15 of 'us', just a bunch of lads who want to make flags and displays. It has been a bit difficult in the fact that the main group wanted to be completely independent of anyone, just us doing flags . I for one have been asked on numerous occasions to do interviews and stuff but have refused as I can't see the point . The TF surfer has been a bit of a problem within the group as was the reaction from one source about the proposed flag for Tiote, it was hard reading negative stuff about GF when 99% of us thought the whole thing was absolutely ridiculous, I'm a wimp but Mr Heron let his views known to a certain person in very flowery language, I'll leave it at that !! I'm not quite sure why exactly but the other TF lad didn't want us to carry on with the name, the rest of the group always (well mostly) got on with this lad so out of respect to him we've agreed , a bit baffling but hey ho. Since WH was started we've just sort of grown into each other , no meetings as such just a bunch of lads and lasses who got on with each other and the result was the Rafa display. As for the name, we haven't 100%decided but it's looking like WH, just like everything some like it, some don't, I don't care, it's a name ! It's what we do that's important. Personally I'm happy with the disconnect from TF as now I feel totally independent, no shackles!! I can guarantee there's no egos at all and no attention seeking any more and if any of you want to help out please do so.

Hi lads, I am a founder member of GF along with heron, without going into too much detail or naming folk all that's happened is 2 other founder members have left and because they came up with the name in the first place they wanted to leave but take the name with them. There's been no falling out they just felt they couldn't commit the time necessary. I'm not sure why we can't keep the name but that's their decision so we have to respect it. Since WH started we've got to know them and they started to help out with displays and making the flags. Gf was solely about flags and surfers whereas WH were more keen on tifo as were the majority of Gf. I will be honest and say there's been discussion about the name and as of now it's not 100% it will be WH but for me personally I don't give a toss what it's called, it's what we do that's important. We don't have leaders and everything is done by debate and a vote. I can assure you there's no ego's and it purely exists to improve the atmosphere and support for the team. The age range of our members varies,I'm 55 and the youngest is 18. It's not a closed group and anyone can contact and join, in fact we encourage this but it is hard graft, for the Rafa banner we were in both weekends prior to the Liverpool game and on the Friday night we didn't leave until midnight! I will admit in the past some of the group felt slightly 'shackled' but with the two members leaving I feel we can now spread our wings more, that is not a criticism of them they were just more cautious.

I'm staying in the corner, but there's a canny few moved up to the new section, when we had a meeting with Wor Hyem a few weeks back one of their lads had a list of about 90 who are relocating from the corner, non of them 'quiet'. I really think this might take off.
