The chance was a decent save, though he could have done more. Still perfectly happy with him as 3rd choice for the rest of this season at least - Isak and Wilson obviously both huge upgrades.

I think it's fair to be frustrated that we didn't win that given the way the 90 minutes went, but agree that we're still massively overachieving on our expectations at the start of the season. Still, now we HAVE started this well, it will smart a bit if we end up finishing 7th tbh.

Wilson and ASM are exactly who should've been brought on. Can argue he shouldn't have taken Willock off and Longstaff instead, but we absolutely dominated all 2nd half. As far as earlier, we were already dominating before the subs, so don't buy that argument either. Weird to be laying these points dropped on Howe tbh, he had us set up pretty much perfectly, the players just couldn't finish.

Yeah the manager can't kick it in the net for them, just build a system to make as many chances as possible.
