You seem to be forgetting the short amount of time Mitchell has been here though. It may be that Mitchell is the best talent spotter on the planet, but you cant say on one hand Eddie is holding all the cards but on the other say Mitchell should be allowed to sign whoever he wants. Its common knowledge there's a transfer committee. If Mitchell has a list of say, 5 players in every position, it will take time for them to do their due diligence as a group on all of them. There wouldnt have been enough time this window. If it turns out what you're saying is correct, then I would be expecting Mitchell to resign fairly quickly.

I reckon we put in an Eddie classic and blow them away. Not quite the 6-1 but we come out United and get a cracking win.

I’m not sure what it is but Howe seems very chill about it, like he knows something. I think 1 or 2 in still. Looking at some of the historic deadline deal days from the past, there’s big names have moved on the last day.

Last game before the break then we have 2 away (3 if you include the cup) games in a week. Expect a high intensity performance much given the two weeks off. Ideally a new centre half making his debut as well.

👆🏻 thank god. Don’t understand how people aren’t getting this when asking why we haven’t signed a,b and c. Howe has mentioned it from day 1. The success so far has been built on team spirit, they aren’t deviating from that.
