I can't agree with this in terms of Demba's quality early in the season- he was top class. However, today was a classic example of where we should have played 4-3-3 but didn't with the most likely reason being that they didn't trust Demba to track Zabaleta. The first goal comes from them outnumbering us in the middle. If Demba was to go with us signing two pacy 4-3-3 style widemen, it wouldn't be the end of my world and it would lessen the impact of the ACON next year as well. A straight swap for Gameiro wouldn't be too bad either! I agree .. I remember against Man Utd at home where his performance was completely dominant .. but since then hes the one player that frustrates the hell out of me.. as he has an inability to retain posession... without scoring goals he is not an asset to the side at all. Wasnt really Cabayes fault... He was trying to push forward and make our attack tick more .. we lsot possesion .. hed ran his arse off for 65 minutes and was knackered.. really think we should have played with a midfield 3 ... with ferguson left wing and gutierrez defensive mid.... Well, knackered or not, he didnt follow Toures run. I'm not having a pop, just saying it would have been a lot tougher for Toure if Cabs had of followed him.

Lost Toure for the first goal, if he had of kept with him it would have made it a lot tougher for him. But, he's generally been excellent all season. I really think he'll kick on next year too.

ref gave them absolutely everything and refused to book any of them, Tiote was booked (correctly) after 4 mins What? I barely noticed the ref.. Certainly was nowhere near as bad as this clown here today, nowhere near.. What game were you watching? The ref was diabolical on Wednesday. Some high profile decisions het got wrong please? I can only remember the Mikel challenge on Tiote. Maybe my brain is going to pulp.. He booked Tiote in the first 3 minutes for his first challenge while constantly letting Chelski players off. One time hba broke free, got hacked down and all we got was a free kick no booking. Ivananvic (sp) elbowed Ba in the back and I dont think we got a free kick. And he gave lots of other soft ones to them. He was awful.
