  1. I saw a pic or video somewhere of Lewis Hall getting FaceTimed in the dressing room
  2. The scene at 3:22 with Eddie and JT and a backdrop of us celebrating
  3. I pride myself on never getting done by an offside goal (apart from VAR now obviously), I always check for the flag. But it got me there , probably cos I got swept along, didn't think Isak was off, and the linesman was hard for me to see. I was in full celebrations when through the arms of the stranger embracing me I saw the ref indicating it hadn't counted. I had to tell the poor lad hugging me, who was facing the opposite way to the pitch.
  4. Is there a non-embedded link for this? I just have a black square appearing. edit: guessing it's new video on offiical channel
  5. Like has been said, both goals were magical, but the second was a higher euphoria for me. The Burn's goal was amazing, but there were two things in the back of my head - 1) I barely saw that goal at the other end of the pitch, could this be disallowed by VAR? 2) It's only 1-0. For Isak's I had no VAR fear and I was more then thinking 'shit I think we're going to do this'. I also saw that hit the net from behind the goal - I love a net ripple. And there was the players being with our fans. But both incredible. Burn's being the first also had that specialness. I'm also kind of glad now they scored that goal because it added to the final whistle feeling.
  6. https://www.instagram.com/share/BAJSroClxA how did Shay notice the final whistle about two seconds before any of us ?? (last slide) edit: And how did Giggs know?
  7. Was listening to the Micah Richards/Shearer/Lineker podcast thing. Richards was sitting around the halfway line and he said it was unusually loud because unlike most games there was a lot of noise coming from both sets of fans, equal he said. But he said the noise when we scored was the loudest he's heard at Wembley alongside when England scored against Germany in the Euros.

Wish I could see myself on a celebration photo.
  9. I'd be interested in the cup final shirt but I'd rather get it with a player on the back than Winners 25. Doesn't seem possible?
  10. I thought it was going to be a goal by him doing the VAR symbol, but cos players hadn't reacted I wasn't sure, then I thought he said offside and started celebrating along with others around me. (btw so glad our goals were free of all that nonsense)
  11. Aside from my total hatred of VAR, this referee announcement thing is total shit. It just makes the whole thing take even more time and more unclear. We don't need to know the details in the ground, we just need to know the outcome. Referee makes the hand symbol and you knew goal or not, normally also aided by a big screen. With that Liverpool goal it wasn't clear til he'd also spoken, and even then, I wasn't sure if he said onside or offisde. I was only totally clear by the Liverpool players celebrating, which was also delayed by them being similarly unclear.
  12. I feel like the prestige of the cup has risen again after a low about ten years or so ago. Between 2011 an 2014 you had Birmingham, Cardiff, Swansea, Bradford and the mackems in the finals, which I sort of liked but I think it did hit the prestige. Since then the winners had been Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and ManU (now us!) - and mostly that lot as runners up too, along with Arsenal, Spurs, us, Villa and Southampton. I think Pep taking it seriously particularly helped. Then you've also seen a bit of a decline in the FA Cup's prestige, meaning I don't think there's a big gulf between them. Ultimately I don't really give a fuck, but I was past considering it second-rate before we won it.
  13. Particularly noticed Gordon loving that, knew every word.
  14. Imagine not being black and white. Would you dare. So clearly the best the colour to be.
  15. Loved that, not seen it done like that since Shearer. The cheers too (Pope’s kick though )

  17. Hayden was doing 5Live punditry for the final and spoke very highly of Howe, even saying he keeps in touch with him still and checks in. Clearly no bitterness about being frozen out the last few years.
  18. I know it's silly, and obviously a League Cup / FA Cup double would've been lovely, but I'm a bit happy we lost this now. It meant it was all about yesterday. No 'oh well, we've still got the FA cup' - and no cup disappointment later in the season after that, that can wait for future seasons.
  19. It was great that a Pardew-era signing got to lift the cup. Felt like the king himself was there with us.
  20. Two of Rafa's signings in the starting line-up. Obviously he loves Liverpool, but bet he was buzzing for us.
  21. Think this is one I was referring to (timestamped)
  22. I hope that's real, what a tribute
  23. Spotted you in bright pink just behind Anthony Gordon outside before kick off. Two local fashion legends
  24. Tbf to Liverpool I think they were sometimes making a noise and we just couldn't hear it at our end, cos we could hear ourselves drowning them out. In one of the highlights clips they were quite loudly singing Steve Gerard's song and I didn't hear that at all in the ground.
