Not a fan at all of the 70s magpie badge. The seahorse has a connection the the city beyond the club, the history of the area. We’re just associated with magpies because they’re the same colour as our shirt.

The fact so many other clubs have changed their crests will just make those who don't stand out more and more for their classic ones. And people love that about football, its tradition etc, incl the global fanbases.

Bias aside, our badge is absolutely class and I'm programmed to have a visceral positive reaction to seeing it (removing the colour from it already removes that reaction though).

I know I should be open to it, it's changed before but The whole 'technology has advanced so we can't handle as much complexity' thing seems strange. I understand it - but...

Nah. Either Forest dropping points at West Ham or Chelsea v ManU gives us a decent chance without beating Arsenal. We may no longer be favourites but would be silly to think it’s over. Hope this sort of energy isn’t in the crowd on Sunday.

You’re not right on the draw scenario. Forest would be a point above us and Chelsea would be level. We may be above Chelsea on GD but may not.

Correct as far as I can tell. Would put us on 67. Villa would be max 67. And only Chelsea or Forest could finish above us in that scenario. Edit - no. Probably but possibly not. Chelsea would be max 69 and Forest max 67. Or Chelsea max 66 and Forest max 70. Or Chelsea max 67 and Forest max 68. In the third scenario Chelsea *could* realistically just pop us on GD.

There’s no way Leicester or Southampton are helping us next weekend. Looking to Bournemouth! Howay for Eddie. Liverpool doing the business could be a nice bonus.

That’s not bad. Could’ve been one point better but it was a winnable game that they’ve not taken while behind us. 3 points from our next two games and they HAVE to beat West Ham away to enter last day ahead of us. Not too hard a game but wouldn’t fancy it with that pressure. (Assuming they’ll beat Leicester obvs)

Draw away at Brighton is a decent result but that Chelsea result is a blow. Going to be tight and puts a lot of pressure on remaining games. Should do it but nervy!

Could only listen but relieved with a draw. Keeps things tight but we’re in a good position.

Which is also why Chelsea are in the conference league and going to win/ruin that too.

We’ve been class away, one of our best seasons. It’s losing 4 homes games to teams below us (8th downward) that’s been our biggest weakness.
