Hmm don’t really know what i want. I think some of my bitterness has gone now ive seen us win a cup. Part of me could enjoy Villa winning it, especially over Bayern. But then seeming them gloat to us would prob turn me.

When was the last time we led at a ground 3-0 at HT for two consecutive matches there?
-
We can still win the league

Forest, Chelsea, Man City all dropping points

When was there last a Manc derby in the second half of a season where neither team was in the top 4
-
There was another one for Newcastle, I think the same season v Bolton, the only time I’ve seen a keeper for holding on over 6 seconds.

Im looking at this game as win win. Both of these teams will win most weekends. Being 7 behind Forest with 2 games in hand sounds lovely, even if 1 behind Villa with 2 games in hand.

Brighton def could've been a danger with a good run - cracking result that.

A few wanting us to win cos their priority is Forest not getting in CL but aye, sad really, don’t wish that apathy on them -
Absolutely mental what's happened to the game. Thank fuck we got to win a trophy without this shit.

Def better than normal, even accounting for fact I was in part of ground where better anyway.

Smashing it like that so close was so satisfying to watch

yeah was thinking the same, Murphy too. Seemed extra strange thinking about Saturday

My first too!

Canny annoyed at him for saying he didn’t mean it. The pace on it meant I’d have totally believed him.

Liverpool under Rafa and Chelsea under DiMateo were teams that won the CL and nowhere near the best team in Europe. The latter finished below us.

Accumulated yellows leading to a ban is fair and good, but the arbitrary cutoff dates are silly - it should be a certain amount of yellows over a rolling period. -
I thought among other club’s das but now our own das.

Liverpool have a good flag of their manager greats - on which Rafa features, incidentally
