That was Middlesbrough when his son was a ball boy. Thought of that one but think he must've been talking about an earlier one. Was the Gallowgate still standing while they were working on it the earliest PL seasons? I know his son wasn't born yet during his 80s spell.

But they’re shit regardless of whether he says it, so don’t see how saying it is a sackable offence. In fact it’s v important for a manager to recognise when they’re shit - I’m much more worried when they seem to not see it. That said, don’t know if it’s a good strategy for motivating players.

I don’t think there was a lot, but I thought I heard a few boos. So many left early, I don’t understand it. I feel like I never meet people who’d admit to doing it but so many do it.
