I agree it has to happen, but players under performing in first team and still getting games / escaping criticism sends wrong message as you want young players to lookup to the first team players
-
Nothing if it's done consistently
-
I don't mind him having a go at them but he needs to have the same principles with underachieving first teamers like Jonas, Shola etc
-
Mind I hope if the likes of Gosling etc really don't show up he does start being ruthless. Also he has to do the same with first team. If (When) Jonas and Shola continue to be shit he needs to have the same mentality and ship out players that don't perform. I also expect him to ship himself out of the club for gross misconduct

Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho and Capoue. Well played, Tottenham. Felt all summer they would be better off selling Bale in the long term. They have sort of quietly gone about their incoming business with the whole Bale out saga in the headlines and have spread out the signings in a way where I didn't even notice how much money they had spent. Not seen anything of Lamela but know he's very highly rated. Very jealous of the way they run their club and also for the fee they are getting for Bale which is just silly money. I admit to seeing very little of most of them players, but selling one player to potentially develop 3-4 areas of your team is good business,

Look at Spurs now compared to years ago when we were better than them, so bad how mismanaged we have been while Levy has been forward thinking and looking after the club exceptionally. Used to despise Spurs but admire them and the way they go about things

Aye your username backs up giving it a miss tonight. No point in tonight is there, come back when we are good and that. that's it Brett lad, you show him what it's like to be the bestest fan in the whole wide world. Sounds like he is a supafan. Might change my username to nufc4abitseehowitgoes 30 years supporting this shower of s***, 23 as a season ticket holder and countless away games. But missing 90 mins means I only watch when we are good There's just not much point in missing it though really is there? It's a bit of over reaction. Just watch it and see how it goes, never know we might actually score a few and a couple of the younger lads coming through might impress. Not watching it means I keep calm and keep my sanity for 90 mins. Will just be pissed off watching us struggle against Morecambe. Just read that bit back, absolutely struggle against a team leagues below.
-
He just inspires us to back him doesn't he. Even talking about losing to Fulham. How can he expect the fans to back him when he is so negative about our own chances.

Should never go back. He just did not work with Cisse and Pardew couldn't work it all out. If Cisse is staying we need someone that could compliment his skills which both remy n gomis probably could. If we want a left winger lets sign a left winger and not just shunt a striker there. Both Sinclair n Ince would have been fine for us.
-
Not until that line becomes bidirectional and we manage to cross it.
-
Give us Rose, Sigurdsson and Kane* then they can have him. *No idea what he is like tbh but surely better than Shola as the big lad that inevitably comes off the bench. This is exactly what we should be trying to do with any teams coming in, look at who we could include in a swap as we won't replace him in time.
-
When the ball is whipped in anything can happen, floating it in gives the defence a great chance to clear. I can't believe we have not came up with any new routines. With Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Marveux surely one of them could just whip them in

Suppose but already paid up to this point for season ticket. I'm out in Feb, but have already paid a few hundred quid so not going to miss watching all those goals go past Krul or Elliott when Krul is sold on deadline day. Looking forward to seeing Swansea, Crystal Palace, Hull and other teams we can't compete with financially. Yep, I can understand the money already paid side of things, I just wrote mine off. Expect some signings in Jan to try and stop people like you cancelling. Oh no doubt that is their plan, and no doubt I toy with the idea of cancelling, the one thing signings or not that will sway it for me though is if Pardew is till manager.

There doesn't seem to be any bother with players crossing the line in the other direction. Aye, funny that , they just seem totally clueless for incomings. I do think they have gone to far with signing french players now also. Look at some of the players moving in this country and im sure one or two could have improved the balance of our team, even if they are not 23-26 with a £25 million value potential and internationals. The fact is we sign players with potential, ruin them with Pardews coaching and tactics and they won't go for much more than we have paid. Tiote was talked about 20-30 mill and would be lucky to get 5 or 6 now for him
-
Also i'm honestly fucking sick of signing French players, we do need to look at British occasionally
-
There are lots of average wingers in our leagues that would be a million times better than jonas. It cant be this hard to address the weakness. We need 1 or 2 wingers that can just go direct down the wing and actually cross a ball, we have noone that can do this, then just sign another striker thatv can get on the end of crosses. Simple
-
At least we tried to sign a striker, its just that pesky line we can't get over
-
I found Pardews stifling tactics hard to take. He's got some cheek like. He stifles our creativity far more than another teams manager ever could. He must be blind, stupid or both
-
We will be relegated this season with him still in charge, what I have seen in last two games shows we now have no clue whatsoever how to score goals and have even gone backwards from last season. Back to 4-4-2 last two games without a out and out winger in sight, our players are suited to a short passing game as they are not any good at playing direct balls. We look totally disorganised and players look clueless as to what to do with the ball. Most of the time we look like a bunch of strangers thrown together. Im convinced a new manager without new players would still see a massive turnaround, however that assumes we go and get a forward thinking manager from abroad without a ready made british manager excuse book. Pardew is a total cretin and I cant watch 7 more years of this,by which point we would be in league 1. My season ticket will not be renewed in feb if changes are not made because I hate everything about watching us play these days
