  1. Arsenal really are worse than us at defending
  2. Agree we are not creating enough clear cut chances or playing him through, he is to involved in open play for my liking also. I just want him to concentrate on finding space between defenders and dragging them about
  3. Thought he was mint 2nd half like,so strong and quick

Don't blame Pards for yesterday, maybe Marveux on earlier for Jonas but thats it. we looked all over the place for a while in first half but settle and were the better team, should have taken our chances. we carved out enough opportunities, just nobody to put them away. The amount of times Debuchy and gouffran got crosses in we should have had someone on the end of them. Cabayes set pieces are shocking, need someone to whip them in and I would let Ben arfa take them when he's back tbh Awful defending for their goal, we seem to cause our own downfall in every game. Its always shit defending and could see it coming yesterday when we were in control but not scoring, never mind, we move on and bottom 3 still 6 off us. Win against Stoke and practically safe I reckon. Can't wait for Ben Arfa back as seeing Jonas play football is quite painful and I think we will open teams up more. Still early days with new players but Gouffran, Sissokho and Debuchy all playing well while it may take Mbiwa a bit longer to he used to it
  5. So true. I can't wait for it. So different to a month ago, but looking forward to seeing Gouffran, Cabaye, Mbiwa, Sissokho, Debuchy etc
  6. He must do something right to make that sort of money and business wise we must be the best run in the league (or one of). Considering where we were under freddy
  7. Probably rightly in this case. Having HBA on the bench to unleash later would still be immense. Aye, I haven't really got any problems with him going unchanged (MYM in for Colo though) for this, but as a general "rule", I don't really like it. Looking forward to seeing MYM play again this game or otherwise, looks like he will be freaking awesome eventually. Look so athletic and made for this league
  8. Btw when was the last time we had so many young players out on loan Abeid, Dummet, Newton, Inman, Good, Sammy, Fergie - can't be bad
  9. Maybe Tavernier next to Championship - he needs another loan
  10. Tbh Chelsea Fans, Abramovich and Terry deserver each other tbh
  11. I wouldn't even bother turning up. We've got a Sissokho In all seriousness expect it to be a very tough game for us. I think we are capable of getting a draw in this one

I do wonder sometimes whether it might be healthy for some of the more aggrieved of us on here to invest in viewing another team playing as they would if they were Newcastle for a few games. Even the top teams in the league would do; watching Arsenal inviting pressure for extended periods, getting p*ssed with ManUtds slow starts, or as you say, watching Tottenham fail to control games and relying on moments of brilliance. Not saying we should stop the clamour for our own improvement of course, that's rightly always the aim. The idea of jettisoning Pardew for a new manager (I guess the current fairly obtainable favourites being McCLaren, Martinez, Moyes, Adkins and Laudrup) as the ultimate quick fix to clear the final few hurdles of starting halves slowly and an inability to consistently dominate a game seems a little unconvincing to me though. Surprisingly even people like HTT clamouring for his head during the campaign now seem happy to see him stay on till the summer before being replaced. But even then it still seems lunacy to me for the upheaval it would cause. to be honest, I dont even think we need a new manager - a forward thinking coach with his own mind would be a great help. Pards is loved by the players and is good for morale. he just needs a few things pointed out to him. That may be best approach, get Nobby in or look for someone with an attacking mentality. I don't doubt Pards has the organisation capabilities and preperation it's the coaching we appear to be lacking in
  14. Never looked capable when I have seen him, just looks sluggish and seems to always be injured. We should probably just try to sell him now tbh as I can't see him playing instead of our other midfielders including Bigi - in fact Abeid will probably be ahead of him when he comes back
  15. How many goals has he got this season including cups - 17?
  16. reading it this morning, fucking barmy letting our lunatics loose on a slide after being on the drink before a match, will be covered in piss and all sorts. Most the fat fuckers won't get on it either. Stairs are good for people, putting slides in will just add to our total BMI
  17. I think he will drop him once HBA ready, no reason not to really. Gouffran works hard enough and don't think Debuchy needs Jonas in front of him
  18. Aye Taylor does look quite Top heavy himself, wonder if it restricts his agility somewhat

Agree, I will give him credit for moving to 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 it has improved things. The striker on the wing is annoying as fuck when it's Cisse or Shola as none are capable of that role (Gouffran is by the looks of it). Also yes we are playing less long balls which is good, I just wish we looked more capable to pass and move rather than inconsistently doing it
  20. Should never be back up captain, Cabaye should be. Why your worst player in the team would be captain is beyond me. Would you listen to a Winger that can't pass, can't dribble and can't cross

If we won something I would never suggest that, however I also won't ignore the fact that we look like an accident waiting to happen 90% of the time
  22. For the 1st goal Colo should have came across to the man behind Taylor and Santon should have covered the guy towards back post. Taylor didn't know which one to go for so stayed in between and got caught short when ball came to him. I think Taylor should have reacted better but Colo and Santon at fault also
