  1. I guess there's also raising salary ceiling as well though, not just transfer fees and uefa squad rules so may need that sooner to continue building.

    Nick Woltemade

I have no worries, will judge him in our shirt not playing 2 internationals. Eddie will have a plan and adjust the style, 2 rapid wingers in Elanga and Gordon, 3 monsters in centre mid, quality full backs. We will be fine, German Crouch will be fine, Wissa will be electric. Can see a shape where it's almost a diamond with Woltemade dropping and Elanga/Gordon looking for the breaks. Other games where it's Wissa/Woltemade alternating dropping into that hole in a 442 in possession. Another game in a 352 where it's Woltemade and Elanga/Wissa/Gordon and Ramsey, Tonali and Bruno in centre and Livramento/Hall wing backs. Just think the style of players we have bought give us flexibility compared to what we had.
  3. Agree but I think the premise of scouting and acquiring some players the way they do would save a awful lot of money to develop 1 or 2 a season while then keeping cash for bigger right now upgrades. We need to operate in a way to manage PSR and also improve squad quality which means our worldwide scouting/bringing players in before they are worth 30/40 million is what we need to do as well as spending 60-70 on bigger upgrade each season. Take defenders we could potentially improve our options at the back for a fraction of the 150 m we have spent on it so far if we had those options coming through. Now is the time to do that with Burn/Schar having couple years left, Botman and Thiaw hopefully doing well and a younger understudy behind them getting experience. Same for fullback, need cover for Hall, Livermento, Trips and Krafth given age of the last 2.

Eddie would have rather signed noone if he thought Woltemade was shit or could not cut it/be coached. He will be fine, may need some development/adjust to our style and the league but that's where Wissa helps early on. Not judging him until see him in our system for a sustained amount of time

Working with Eddie will improve his movement, positioning in box and probably work on first time hitting the ball in certain positions. He will be top class by end of this season playing in our team.

He's making himself available for the ball, dropping and also pushing on but Germany are fucking terrible at working the ball forward. They aren't playing to strengths of the players they have really. He has been standing on the half turn waiting for ball to be played, gesturing for it and never comes

On other hand Wirtz looks like a ball greedy cunt, trying to run through people without any awareness or using the team.

Woltemade assist, seems to know the space
  9. Yeah want to see how new lads bed in and hopefully improve squad. Jan/Next summer going to need to consider defence with Burn, Schar and Trips age. Long term keeper, probably a winger right and left and maybe a midfielder depending on Mileys progress this year or likely risk to Tonali being poached, plus Joelinton age
  10. Hopefully we have some sort of clause in the sale
  11. I think we will be pleasantly surprised this season, the sheer pace of that front 3 and Woltemessi, Ramsey etc and strengthened defence. Once up to speed and they have been Howed we will run teams down
  12. Ashley, Bruce, Isak, Owen Souness and Pardew I hated at the time but but don't think they were the biggest issue for us and mostly respectful to us as is Barton tbf. Those 4 above though took the absolute piss out of us and are absolute cunts of the highest order. I can't pick which one I hate more.

    Yoane Wissa

Hopefully we pull the Isak deal then
  14. Can we still loan him to championship of needed ? Be better for his development. Or maybe sell him to Saudi for 1 billion dollars
  15. That's a good move of he can get game time and in a decent league to develop compared to sending him to league 2 or somewhere.
  16. And the fact it's on a bedsheet ffs, plus who the fuck has the time to do that. I couldn't be arsed

    Marc Guehi

Probably go through at midnight or tomorrow morning, because Liverpool

    Yoane Wissa

He's also pretty fast isn't he so a lot of pace up front. Think he's faster than Isak as well as having more stamina and rarely being injured so likely to be available more for us. If he bangs goals in this season I don't give a fuck about the fee. Hopefully we spend this season identifying young striker as eventual replacement, although chance we need to look at Burn, Trippier, Pope, Schar and maybe Joelinton replacement in next year or 2 at least in terms of squad as would expect Thiaw and Botman (if he ever stays fit) to end up as main partnership with Hall and Livramento. Potentially Ramsdale as number 1 if decent this year. Centre mid and attack fairly young and may just need upgrades depending where we are end of season.
  19. nufc4eva

    Yoane Wissa

On a positive we have signed 2 strikers, 1 proven in the league and 1 with high potential. Offers options to play a different style with both in the team. Add Ramsay, Gordon and Elanga and few options how we set up to attack. Could play a 4231 sometimes with Gordon, Woltemade or Ramsay in the middle and Elanga on right with Wissa up front. Potentially helps with hard to breakdown teams and offers more than just having Isak isolated up front most games.
  20. Could only be Lopez (unlikely), Frattesi or Rudoni if another midfielder? Attacking midfielder would be good as need more in those spaces. Could see Wissa being it and going again in Jan depending where we are.
  21. PSR swindle of some sort, we end up with Watkins for £60 m, they buy osula for £30 m, better profit for both under them shit rules?
  22. Can't see us selling him unless we magic another striker up tomorrow. If he goes has to be above 130, not like we need to sell him so hope we don't just bow down to our cartel masters.
  23. Anderson was at Bristol Rovers at Mileys age and remember when he came back people didn't think he would be good enough. Miley is 3 years younger and has all the ability to be better, hopefully gets there, needs a bit more bite which I think Anderson always had. Wharton I guess had benefit of playing at level lower for a bit with Blackburn so ready for the step up and been class at palace. Probably more pressure on Miley getting games one of best midfields in the league. Hard to know whether loaning him out or him getting games and learning her is best, he rarely lets anyone down when comes into the team.
