Harper is a good 2nd keeper but will always be found out as a number one. He has been a good servant but will never be a number one. He can't command his area. He does not push the players around. I see that already from Krul. Get a fucking grip, We potentially have a good keeper that could be here for years and ther is no doubting that and I think he is worth the spot this year

The one thing he give us is he runs at defenders and they don't like it. He needs to work on a lot of things but I think his pace and skill and the fact him and jose seem to work together makes him valuable this season in an otherwise slow midfield

I believe 100% that alan shearer is the right man to manage this club. I think he brings the authority, common sense and passion it takes to manage this club. as did robson, as did keegan. Gullit, daglish, allardyce etc never failed because they were not geordies. They failed because they did not have a clue, They did not have passion or understand this club. I think other managers could have succeeded but the ones we had made the wrong decisions time and time again. And p.s. harpers kicking is shit, like givens was and both never commanded their area. I saw give from the moment he signed and him and harper have never commanded their area. Like david james, van der sar, reina etc. A keeper is not just there to save the shots and boot it up field. They have a part to play in the tactical game also

His kicking is shit, never commands his area and he looks very lethargic when diving for a shot. He is a 2nd rate keeper and always will be. I thought he would be ok when given went but does not look like he can handle the pressure

Exactly. He dealt well with it only being what a couple of games for us. Harper has habits he will never get out of. However Krul is still raw and has a lot of potential by the looks of it

nope. Krul had a good game when he came on. Young players will make mistakes but you have to deal with that. He looks ,more imposing than harper looked all last season. Harper is totally shit deal with it. Krul is young and may turn out shit but at least he seems to come for the ball

The difference between harper and krul is harper freezes on his line and krul comes out and wins that ball, kicking looks better and he is more agile.
