He offers very little to us, and stifles progress of two young left wingers we have at the club in Atsu and Aarons. He started way too many games last season ahead of Atsu, imo. Retaining him makes little short or long term sense. May be seen in similar light to Murphy? In that he won't play much but can step in as required and can do a job in limited set of games which is probably about right. We need a squad after all. I agree he should not be in if Aarons, Atsu, Ritchie and hopefully another winger are fit.

Probably as a player to come in late in the game. He works hard and retains ball quite well at times.
