Can't believe people don't think it's the absolute priority for us to close up shop for the next few games, get them used to bring solid and not conceding hopefully while grabbing a point or two along the way. The alternative is mental, we'll get torn to shreds in at least 3 or 4 of the next few games and we'll be in tatters at the end of it. Confidence will be in tatters if we get a few hidings. We absolutely need to work on shape and closing gaps when opposition have ball as we look clueless. We need to hunt in packs to force mistakes and be ready to counter. We give teams too much space across midfield and allow them down the wings. When we lose it Colback and Anita should work either side with full backs and wijnaldum should drop in centre with wingers closing down full backs.

He's scored 4 in 2 games in the league he is playing in couldn't do any better tbh. He's a young lad that needs games and will be playing against physical players. It will be good for him. He is quick, mobile, appears to have awareness. Problem for him is height but that doesn't have to stop him. Sick of the negative s*** about our young players as if they have been given a chance. He's 18 ffs Fair enough, but there's a reason why everyone is negative about our young players. I can count on one hand the ones that have made an impact in the PL the last 15 years. I get what you are saying but need to give them more than 20 mins here and there. We have had Taylor, Krul, Carroll, Dummet, Forster and Aaron's looks like he will make it. They are all average to good. We need to be producing a lot more but have to get the right setup and get on loan for a season.

i think it's going to take time to put any sort of style in place and right the wrongs of Pardew. What is clear is that we are trying to pass more and retain the ball but it's not quite working. Defensive and organisation is major concern as we seem to get ripped open and too many gaps

He's 18 ffs Please do name the other few who have went out on loan and looked head and shoulders above the rest of the league... Oh not many. Probably only vuckic at Rangers. But we have hardly given any much of a chance. Campbell went out and did nothing. We rarely loan players for a good chunk of time though tbh.

He offers the square root of f*** all going forward though. I don't think he was terrible yesterday by any means, he was just his usual bog standard 6/10 self. He does currently but wonder if it's a confidence thing. He's not shit on the ball, just not an exciting player pushing forward. He has goals in him which we have seen but never gets in those positions often enough
-
I thought he played quite well and I don't like him. Nothing amazing but calm on ball and gave other players a platform to attack. The biggest issue I have with him and Anita is not enough presence and defensively all over like the defence. Although both looked much better than Tiote who slowed it right down with no technique at all. I reckon Colback would be more effective if he pushed forward more. He's not shit on the ball, retains well and consistent distribution. When he pushes forward he tends to create something

there's currently three ahead of Williamson though, if cisses sold Austin is pretty much essential. The other 3 are terrible as well though. Mbemba may be great and Colo can be on his day but the rest are dross and Lascelles looks a bit of a calamity so far. Rather be tough to beat and rack up a few draws than be humiliated again and again due to sheer incompetence at the back.
-
At same time though what's worse, having Riviere failing up front or big Mike fucking up at the back. Much rather sort that shit house defence at moment. Hope we keep Cisse though and look to sort next year
-
Yeah no way should we sign a striker before CB and winger. No idea if he can play right wing? While another striker would be nice it's not as critical at the moment with Mitro, Cisse, Perez in squad.
-
Typical performance by the king. Norwich with just 65% possession so far and Palace take lead. Luckily as we know it's not sustainable
-
popped to shops and just got match on now. How shit can they be :-)
-
Honestly can't understand the love in with him. He's a total cock and ruined our players. Hope they get beat today
-
We just need to see improvement and improvement this year is top ten after the shit served up last 2 years. Something to build on, having a go at teams and Mitrovic butt fucking teams especially Chelsea, Scum, Crystal Palace and the victims

We have to give McClaren a chance. It might not be right from day one but hopefully see something there that we can work on. We still need 2 more players but the new signings look decent to be fair and hopefully another centre half or winger is added. I just want to see us try and play football and will try and have patience. McClaren seems more tolerable than that odious fuckpig
-
It was a ridiculous statement like. Training is completely different to games, Pardew picked players on how they trained rather than what they could do.
-
Think he said De Jong was Ajax best player, seemed to like him though, queue a Pardew style benching in favour of someone totally unsuited to the number 10 role instead Sissoko will def start on the right. Tbh was a bit creepy, sounded like McClaren has the hots for him
-
Managers will always like a player that the fans don't rate / hate but Obertan and Williamson would be taking the piss. I can almost accept him loving Colback because he has twice the ability of the other 2, at least he can pass a ball.
-
I'm just hoping it's a bluff and we will sign the centre half we need but deep down I have learned from the Pardew experience that hope is hopeless
-
I could understand not starting Aarons if we had any decent wide men but we only have Obermong. If he starts De Jong, Perez and Sissoko it may be ok but none of them are wingers. If he starts the same team that started Saturday we will get bummed in the face
-
Na, it's that mackem shitbag isn't it

This weirdo just wants to see buff blokes
