He took the ball down from the air in the first half, which, if meant (I'm sure it weren't) was fucking amazing.

In all seriousness, I actually saw Shola close down a player a couple of times, particularly at the end of the match, and even cleared the ball when we were right under it. But yeah, other than that, he was his usual wank. Even when he surprised me and turned a couple of players he followed it up by fluffing the shot miles wide.

Think I'd give the same except upgrade Best from turboshit to just plain shit (4).

He kept us in it during the first half when he again cleared off the line. He did indeed, and fair play to him he's probably stopped more on the line than anyone else this season in the league, but he's still causing us trouble down his flank too much. At one point in the second half, he was the only man playing a Blackburn player on-side, and the only one of the back four to stop and just hold his hand up. I'd say his negatives far outweigh his positives.

I thought Simpson was awful again, particularly first half. Couple of decent blocks second half, mind.

Literally the only thing vaguely worth watching is Obertan's goal.

I suppose if you take a step back and realise that our midfield and attack consisted of Raylor, Guthrie, Perch, Shola and Best it's hardly a surprise how badly we played, massive plus that we took the points. Perfect use of Obertan at the end was a plus. Can't wait until we can field our strongest 11 (minus Saylor).
