I can see where you're coming from with this. I was very impressed with Dowie's words at the press conference. Both he, and Shearer gave me the impression that they knew exactly how things were going to work between them. They both seem head strong and determined. I really would love to see it work.... obviously.

This really doesn't make sense. Only thing I could think of is that, as much as Shearer wouldn't want to work under the conditions of the current board, he'd rather not see them go down so is taking on the job temporarily. I don't know if he has enough time mind. Wouldn't mind seeing something concrete on this though, little skeptical.

Yeah I knew he gave away a pen, but I didn't know if he'd done anything else or whether it "was a penalty" etc.
