I thought Cacapa had an average game to be honest, nothing exceptional, nothing exceptionally bad (I missed the first 15-20 mins). From what I saw, the Cacapa comments are based on the fact that it's Cacapa. It's quite amazing how a few moments can define a players career. I dread to think what the opinions of Bassong would be now had those couple of clumsy challenges he made in the box earlier this season in successive games resulted in penalties. About the game: I was impressed with Baheng, he looked very lively. Guthrie's passing and vision was decent when he was a bit deeper, but looked like he wanted to take everyone on when he was in and around the box. He struck his goal brilliantly. Xisco played reasonably well, I'd put him in ahead of Ameobi. Overall I thought it was a good game played at a fast pace by both teams, therefore making it generally a more entertaining watch than any first team game I've seen recently.

When you see him close up he is small & very wide has that Roonyesq physique. He definitely looks hard to knock off the ball. He has mobility therefore > Ameobi! That shot midway through that went off for a throw was awesome

Baheng looks very busy. He looks like he could handle the physicality of the Premiership as well. The game is being played at a very quick pace by both teams. Quite entertaining to be fair.

Released at this time of year precisely for that reason. This will make Team England a shitload as people can wear it to go out better than some other recent ones. Will be a massive seller imo Yeah I think it will as well, I'm just personally not a massive polo shirt fan. That image above doesn't help much either as the top button is done up and most chav/pikey types tend to wear their top button done up round my way.

The England shirt isn't bad, but it looks like a polo shirt you'd wear down the pub more than a football shirt. I'm all for simplicity in a shirt, but IMO it's nothing special.

Saw an absolute spitting image of Oba Martins this weekend, right down to his current hair do. I might have thought it was him if I didn't live in the south east of England and was in a pub he probably wouldn't be seen dead in

I never thought I'd say this about a right back, but if we were to go down, I don't think there's any one I'd be more gutted about seeing leave. He's just such a top bloke, and a class player, it's rare that you get both. Only other players that I'd be as gutted or nearly as gutted about seeing leave would be Martins, Jonas and Bassong.

He worked hard, ran a lot, but didnt really do anything massively productive in my opinion. Unfortunately though, as much as I normally wouldn't be bothered to see him out of the team, it only really leaves Lovenkrands as a realistic replacement and he hasn't done much to suggest he'd be any better than, or even as good as Duff there.

You just answered your own question. Well aye, it's more bollocks treatment of our younger players from the coaching staff. But i'm not gonna whinge about him going out on loan; it'll do him the world of good if he puts his head down. Personally I'd rather have him here in case we need to put him on the bench during our relegation battle. In the unlikely event players get injured you know. Alright, no need to get sarcy about it. He's never gonna get a start here and his fleeting substitue appearances have been promising at best, and it's like pulling teeth with these cretins trying to get him on the pitch. This move will do the lad more good than harm. Pretty much how I see it to be honest. He's not playing here, so getting some brief experience at a decent competitive level should do him good.

I don't think he does, it's just stubble....

hee hee this thread title makes me chuckle. Quim means fanny

It's a bit like someone holding a gun to your head and forcing you to say something you really dont want to say... Kinnear on a 3 year deal it is...
-
It doesnt help that he's doubled up on a lot of the time because teams know he's our only threat. If he was at a decent club he would probably shine because the opposition couldnt afford to do it.
-
Same here.

Mmm, smells like poor judgment to me... Smells more like bullshit to me. He may not have been great back then but he wasn't that bad.
-
Can we change the shite thread title please?

I thought Geremi played really well tonight. Played it simple every time he got the ball, barely ever gave it away. Martins was very tidy as well.
-
Like Jonas but without the ability to beat a player? I just think they are pretty similar players but Jonas has a bit more quality about him (apart from his delivery at the moment...)
-
He's alright, almost a poor mans Jonas.
-
Decent reception from the fans at full time. Thought we were slightly unlucky to lose that.

Middlesbrough beat Liverpool the other week. I know points are points (if we get any...) but a pleasing effort against Man Utd doesn't excuse shit performances against teams like Bolton. We needed to play like this against the teams around us. I 100% agree.

We didnt play like a relagation threatened team that half.
