Xisco joins Deportivo on loan until the end of the season
Lenny replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
If its not too late, maybe he'll get a chance next season if Kinnear doesn't stay on (and we haven't been relegated). -
If Man Utd win it this year, will that mean they are as successful as Liverpool in terms of league title wins?
-
Your Elmander reasoning is surely what contributes to his move currently not working out though.
-
As much as I'd laugh at seeing Spurs go down, I think they'll probably finish above us. Though they do keep dropping points when you think they would push on....
-
Would be nice, was just thinking the other day how we don't really have any instantly likeable "adopted geordie" types in the mould of Pav, Nobby, Albert etc. What about old Habib though?
-
There's a difference between acknowledging that your player made a mistake and calling him a cunt though.
-
Harry Redknapp doesn't have a problem taking the complete opposite approach
-
He should never leave spain again, if he starts playing regular football he will be picked up by a better spanish team ala Villareal. I'd be surprised if only for the fact that he's getting on a bit now.
-
I could see Hull being dragged in there, which would be amazing given their start. BTW Modric probably should have won it for Spurs late on yesterday.
-
Wasn't he the manager at Wycombe? And didn't he loan Steven Taylor?
-
Isn't he calling it a day at the end of the season though? I don't think that incentive will be relevant this time around.
-
They passed the ball around alright. But their side is chock full of pansy fannies with no bottle. Had Arsenal kept 11 players on the pitch, they would have rolled them over. Arsenal were shite yesterday before having a man sent off, I don't think they would have. Tbh in the last 10 min Arsenal looked more dangerous. I'd lost interest by then. Both teams looked pretty poor to me overall though.

Every time Spurs win I think that they'll push on and get clear of danger, but then they go and lose or draw again. I still don't think they'll go down, but I'm surprised they're still where they are.

It's not a one off thing though is it. He does it all the time. I agree with the comment above, as long as you word it right, there's no reason why you cant say that he made a mistake, as all players do. Claiming ignorance every single time makes him look an idiot, although I'm sure he couldn't give a shit as long as he protects his players.

I don't think I've thought at any moment this season that Man Utd wouldn't win the league.
-
Unfortunately you would be correct.
-
Arsenal are no better.
-
They're struggling without Fabregas. Wenger has said that Arshavin is not fit, having not played since December 13 or something. Yeah I saw the interview before hand, I just meant that bringing on a link up player between attack and midfield would have been what I would have done seeing as Eboue was sent off, rather than bringing on an out right striker.
-
Just can't see Kinnear going for it though, he does like a big man up front. Regardless, I don't think our CM's could give them the service to feet they'd need to be an effective duo. If you're playing two small, pacy guys up top then you need midfielders who are a lot better passers of the ball than what we've got. Our team at the minute needs a big man to play off IMO, at the moment Carroll and Martins would be first choice for me. Very encouraging stuff from Lovenkrands yesterday though, looks a useful replacement for Oba when he's out injured. I thought Nolan's passing was pretty good yesterday, barely ever miss passed the ball, although he wasn't very adventurous which is what imagine you mean.
-
Arsenal look pretty shite today, especially going forward. Van Persie has barely done anything and Adebayor was poor before going off. I wouldn't have brought Bendtnar (sp?) on once Eboue got sent off. If fit, Arshavin would have been an ideal player to bring on to play between the midfield and attack.

Pretty much what I was getting at
-
I don't know why but I have a feeling he'll do quite well for us. He seems to have the determination to succeed.
-
I am in no doubt that Given is the best goalkeeper we've ever had (that I've seen), but to be fair, he hasn't always kept his trap shut through out his time with us.

Pretty decent looking Spurs team.
