Ameobi is not good enough, and as said above with injury records, we probably need 2 strikers, a quality strong partner for either owen or martins, and a backup.

I don't think Ameobi is good enough for the Premiership, I would rather play Sibierski than him, he would offer more to Martins and Owen than Ameobi would. Obviously I'd rather we had a better backup than Sib though.....

I suppose, i dont really know too much about their history but they would strike me as a team in the position we was in a few years ago, just as likely to end up how we are now (well not quite how we are now, but ups and downs etc).

I agree they are a better team than us at the moment, and have a history, but am i wrong in thinking that they have only really been anything special in recent times in the last few years??

i think hes best at holding the play up and keepin possesion. maybe not the best at quick counter attacks but i dont recall him losing the ball that often. I refer to before he came back from england duty tho cos hes not been on form since then!

I personally dont think Ameobi is good enough for the premiership. I think he is the reason players like Chopra and Lua Lua arent with us anymore, 2 players who would score more than ameobi over a season. See Chops got 2 against the mackems last night!!!!
