a lot of people seem to be slating Duff but to be honest I dont think Zoggy has done much if any better than him this season. At this moment in time I'd pick Duff ahead of Zoggy anyway! Thats not to say that his injury isnt a severe kick in the nuts for us!

that is his best attribute, how he keeps the ball at his feet i dont know, like the goal we had disallowed for 'offside', emre had no right to go through those players on the left and come out with the ball! he has a lower centre of gravity which allows him to turn so sharply on the ball!

everything positive went through emre yesterday, his passing was superb, and how the ball sticks to his feet when he bombs through players at pace i dont know, id love to have the close control he does. he is personally, with dyer my favourite newcastle player. probably stupid sayin that on here!

I only wathced the hilights but i thought it was quite impressive how martins and sib new where each other were most of the time, i thought martins' flick ons with his head were very accurate. sib done some nice flicks as well.

So other people think our players are good, its just us that thinks they are shit! id love to see Dyer, Owen, Parker and Taylor sitting in the England squad this time next season.

Oh and so f***ing what if there are knee jerk responses after a player plays well in a game, it just shows that the fans are excited that a player is showing what they can do. Our whole team has been playin poorly this season, and if a few of those players can up their games theres no reason why a bit of consistency and confidence cant come back to our players games!

I do think that people are overly critical of our players on this forum, I personally think Parker and Emre are quality players and if Parker was told he has to be a DM then it would work between the 2 of them. Would be better than Emre Butt imo as i think Parker proved last season how good a DM he is.
