Dyer was always my favourite player!!! brave/ stupid admitting that on here!

Notice he dosen't say anything about Butt's shite passing. I was actually gonna say how awful Butt's passing is. Its woeful at best. With Parker i think you either love him or hate him. The people who hate him will not give him any credit whatsoever. When he has a great game, and MacDoland has no chance of saying anything bad about him, he will keep his mouth shut rather than give him credit. He was ****ing loving it when Parker had that incident with a few fans the other week. Personally Parker is my favourite player and i think he is superb. I'm can't be arsed with an argument about it, because these debates come up all of the time but he is definitely my favourite player. I think 95% of toon fans love him. Im a big fan of Parker, although I think butts passing is actually quite good, sprays the ball around quite well (obv when on form).

i really dont wanna see us playin 1 upfront at home to portsmouth

Who else is slating him? Thought it was only me and Cobh. Anyway, he wasn't superb last season. He's never been superb at any time in his career. One decent season at Charlton and that's the sum of it. Quite a few still going with the shite combo of Parker/Emre..... bluelaugh.gif I havent really been payin attention to who actually has been slating him, but have just noticed a lot of criticism headed his way. I thought he was superb last season, but hey if we didnt have opinions there wouldnt be a forum!

Same, apart from change Zog for Luque, maybe a few games will boost his confidence. Cant see him being given the time though.

Hes never going to move on in January and we couldnt afford to let him go anyway with the size of our squad. I find it really strange how people are slating him so much. The whole team hasnt been performing but i think he was superb last season.

since 9.30 this morning!lol

No, he didn't practically admit he doesn't support Spurs, he went a bit further than that by saying that he supports a team that's in the Champions League. Now that pretty much rules you fuckers out of all contention seen as you've never been anywhere near it. bluebigrazz.gif says a guy that supports a team that hasnt won absolutly nothing in over 50 years, is currently in a relegation scrap, has a back four that consists of carr, bramble, ramage, and babayaro and has a manager by the name of Roeder and a chairman that has previously insulted the whole of your city. Are you trying to make me cry? kinda, did it work? Your 6pts ahead of us, which is fuk all to be proud of. You've had a nice little revival under Jol (and last year you still managed to have the shortest season available to a EPL team), before that you were the joke of London for some ten years, so stop being so fuking cocky. Fuking Tottenham fans, the stinking foul disease of the internet football forums. no doubt it will be much more then that at the end of the season. How embarrasing that the only people that have witnessed you winning any sort of silverware are members of the 'old aged pensioners' club. The sad thing about it is, tottenham fans know were not as good as arsenil or chelski but you lot actually believe your better then middlesbrough when the league positions for countless recent seasons as well as the fact that they've actually won something recently and got to the uefa cup final prove otherwise. funny cos in my opinion spurs fans have always been the worst at thinking they are something theyre not!

I only go by what i see on the tv but I dont think Parkers passing is bad, I know its only one instance but the ball he played through to Solano last night (in the middle, passed it between 2 opposition players to the right, Solano poorly controlled, it bounced and his cross went behind the goal) showed good vision to me.

I find it funny that this post was started just over an hour ago and its already nearly 4 pages long!!!!

Not really overly relevent but does everyone think that pardew is a shit manager because i think that he's quite good. I'd rather have him than Roeder, although thats not saying much. Actually, I think I am in the minority in thinking that Alan Pardew is not as good as people have suggested. I remember that after West Ham beat Boro in FA club semi final, there were quite many praises heaped on him. I think Alan Pardew is a manager who is capable of building a very good squad, but not capable enough of to build a great team. I am very unimpressed by his complains that the takeover talks have affected his team's performance. and also by his failure to utilise Mascherano and Tevez. But he buys wisely - Green, Gabbidon, Zamora, Harewood, Ashton, Konchesky, Benayoun, Spector etc. I would have Pardew over Roeder in Newcastle United, but that does not suggest much! Thats very true I'm shocked at how little he has got out of tev and masch, tho he appears to be good with team morale, and i think the fans are behind him. One of my mates is a hammer and loves him. I also like the style of football they play (well last season anyway). But this could be because im used to seeing the way we play!

Bridge and Baines?? i think priority would be a new player for each position accross the back rather than buying 2 that play in the same position! Although we did sign Duff when we have Zoggy.......

I wouldnt be suprised if Huntington was played as a full back, most managers seem to do that when a youngster is brought in, i.e Taylor and Ramage, i think even Stephen Gerrard started as a right back for Liverpool didnt he?

I actually hate Ameobi playing for us, i just don't see what he offers us. Even more crazy that he has stopped potential coming to fruition with us in Chopra and Lua Lua. If Chopra was given the amount of chances and time Ameobi has had i think he'd be much better.
-
I thought Carew looked superb last night against Madrid, whenever he was on the ball they just couldnt get the ball off him! He was so strong, and good with his feet for a big bloke!
-
Ameobi is not good enough, and as said above with injury records, we probably need 2 strikers, a quality strong partner for either owen or martins, and a backup.
-
I don't think Ameobi is good enough for the Premiership, I would rather play Sibierski than him, he would offer more to Martins and Owen than Ameobi would. Obviously I'd rather we had a better backup than Sib though.....

They're currently second bottom of the Bundesliga with 1 win from 13. i think im just going to shut up, first I disagree, that gets knocked back, then I consider the resoning, and then that gets shunted!lol
-
I suppose, i dont really know too much about their history but they would strike me as a team in the position we was in a few years ago, just as likely to end up how we are now (well not quite how we are now, but ups and downs etc).
-
I agree they are a better team than us at the moment, and have a history, but am i wrong in thinking that they have only really been anything special in recent times in the last few years??
-
well weirder things have happened, how many of us expected owen here??? not that i think huntelaar is goin to join us though!
-
I dont actually ever believe any report that doesnt have direct quotes! The best one is when its "a source close to the player"!
