I havent really been paying much attention to West Ham so I was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on why both of them have not worked out. Mascherano has recently said he wants to leave and has Tevez even scored for them!?! Have they been given a fair crack and played shit or are they not being given a chance? Also, since we may well need a CM and a ST would they be worth the risk to us? I dont think they can actually leave this window since they have been at 2 clubs in a year. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier!

but keegan aint our manager anymore

Owdid Gennoe! lol

Roeder doesnt tend to say anything until it practically happens. Think someone said that on another thread the other day!

Bollocks tbh. Typical of this forum tbh, either he's havin a laff or he thinks HE can judge a player after 1 game but criticise others who do the same but reach a different conclusion. Then again he may watch the young'uns and think that counts. It doesnt!! this site is shite tongue.gif You can only go by what u see and he played well so why the fuck people can critisize him is beyond me!

Remind me what he's done since he went to Everton bluebigeek.gif The only ferguson we'll end up with is Barry, on loan, got a sneaky feeling. Just down the road from where he is now and another crack at the PL with a bigger team blueyes.gif well he clearly has done nothing since he went to everton but i dont think he will cost much, he has nothing to lose there will be no pressure on him and at the end of the day it wont matter when he ends up being 3rd choice! Beattie would still command big wages though, Loan deal maybe, yes True, again a good shout although even with owen fit we still need another striker so id rather a permanent deal. I dont want ameobi anywhere near the first team!

I honestly dont think Beattie would be a bad shout!

Well technically we knew about Duff the monday before but nothing was confirmed officialy until the Friday or Saturday. I would prefer they kept all transfers quiet. My mate is a spurs fan and he was goin on about it all week, thought it was really amusing when all of a sudden we'd signed him! now if only he can start performing.....
-
I remember when we signed Ferguson, i was really pissed off because I genuinely said to my mate a few weeks before that i thought he was the shittest striker in the premiership. I was young and over exaggerating but i thought he was shit. But i thought Shearer and Ferguson were superb together, real shame he was always injured! that goal he scored against Man ure!!!!!!

Wheres £10 Million on a DL and a Striker???
-
Just wait for Kazenga to come through has anyone seen him play, is he any good?
-
yeah shame scholes kept up his usual level of performance against us. Hes a dirty fucker tho!
-
Huntington didnt seem slow when he was running with rooney for the ball. Rooney was quicker but then rooney is actually really fast!
-
and ramage hasnt been playing badly recently, in fact hes played quite well. One OG and people are all over him again. I dont think he'll ever be a player that can command a first team place but hes handy to have, like andy obrien was.
-
to be fair, points for us and most teams in the prem are so important that i can understand why managers choose to use their experienced players when they have them. the way most people get into teams in the first place is through another player getting injured, unless they have been bought for £10 million obviously. Im not saying its the right thing but i can understand it.
-
Where the hell did you get that Ramage is 27 from, hes just turned 23!
-
he looks a lot more confident and composed than ramage and huntington, looks like he has a brain. He doesnt just lump it up the field when he gets it. He was also probably the only player i can think of that didnt give the ball away cheaply today. I thought he deserved his MOM.
-
Ermm....what? Sib is one of the few players we have who can trap and bring down a ball. when the ball comes into him on the deck he's not so good though, and against the manure defnders lost the ball whenever he tried to dribble. Having said that Luque would of been a lot worse To be honest i wouldnt have let Luque within ten yards of the pitch today. Luque is clearly off id have played Carroll before him

Milner did a good job defensively, would've thought it would've been better to have him on the right to kick the shit out of Ronaldo, but it worked out well. Apart from his goal, which ofcourse, was absolute class, he gave the ball away too often, just like the rest of our players. Great fighting spirit and a lot of credit to Roeder who got the tactics SPOT ON. Yeah i think he wanted the new player to be protected which is understandable. I agree that we gave the ball away cheaply way too often considering the quality we had in midfield today.
-
Milner protected edgar really well, i think roeder had him do it when huntington played at full back against chelsea. Effective.
-
Martins good at holding up the ball but on the other hand he tends to lose possesion way too easy also. If only he would pass it a bit earlier... He needs to make more runs down the line and get his head up, if he does he will be a quality team player aswell as a goalscorer, which he isn't quite atm. he def needs to take people on a bit more
-
gave quite a few cheap balls away but was calm on the ball most of the time He dominated Ronaldo in the second half, looked like he was gonna break his legs with some of the challanges did more than enough to keep him quiet. yeah agreed if you can keep ronaldo quiet youve done your job. Just a few sloppy passes when in possession. I suppose for someone as technically superb as him you dont expect it.
