  1. Turned into a pretty shameful performance in the end. We created some good chances and had some nice spells but as the game wore on our all too familiar lack of ability in front of goal became apparent.
  2. Generally speaking the effort and commitment hasn’t often been an issue all the while Rafa has been here. It’s the lack of ability.
  3. I'm really not surprised Burnley are struggling. IIRC their defensive record last year covered up for their lack of goals to an unsustainable level.
  4. I can only assume he was trying to avoid running directly into the post so swept at it, but still, it was unbelievably bad. Clearly you're not getting it. He kicked it too far to the left, it's already been explained. Oh

  6. He didn't get a lot go near him, but I love having a striker that the ball sticks to. Rondon really is our focal point and you can see it by the way we are constantly looking to get the ball in ASAP; almost to a fault.
  7. Really nice seeing how comfortable and confident our centre backs are at distributing the ball. Ki was my pick for MotM. He's so composed and calm at all times.

    Centre Back Options

Lejeune + Lascelles or Fernandez; whoever is in the best form. Really like Fernandez, assumed he was shite having seen nothing of him prior to him signing.

He's very composed on the ball. Never panics and has a sharp turn on him. Looks like he should be a regular starter.
  10. Will that Austin interview get aired over here?

Ritchie has put in plenty of quality crosses this season, in amongst plenty of poor crosses. He’d be a lot more productive if we had strikers that made strikers’ runs. Yedlin, on the other hand has terrible delivery (I would argue Dummett has a better cross) and also wouldn’t get the space he is afforded making forward runs as a right back, if played on the wing. I think any effectiveness he has would be nullified.
  12. He generally scores goals where he has little time to think. Whenever any composure is required he tends to be wasteful.
  13. Premier league player booting the ball aimlessly up in the air to try and create something
  14. If Ashley were to sack him then it would show quite definitively that the protests and unrest does not even remotely bother him.
  15. The crowd was definitely booing Ritchie going off rather than Murphy coming on.
  16. unreal that sub mind dear fucking me What's Ritchie done this game? Shown that he's capable of controlling and passing a football, which makes him one of our better performers.
  17. Ritchie is the only player with any semblance of quality that ventures into the opposition third and we've subbed him off. Not keen on him constantly being subbed off when there are always worse performers than him lasting the 90.
  18. It's the same every week though; whenever we are presented with opportunities we don't put them away. We also constantly let the opposition off when they fuck up - you could probably pick a chance every game this season where the opposition has made a dodgy back pass or slipped over and we've not taken a single chance.
