These are the type of people who go to the match now. Shouting "shoot!" every time he was within 45 yards of the goal, for fuck's sake. Zero understanding of football. Absolute wankers, the lot of them. Christ sake, they probably just think it's funny (which it's not). Doesn't mean they know fuck all about football.

Love Colo when he's at his best.
-
One of his shots was bordering on the worst shots of all time
-
Probably not in his best position but Wijnaldum is better in his best position than he is.
-
Me ? He's one of my favourite players but his shooting is shit which has cost us points so far this season. This is probably half the reason his confidence is on the floor in front of goal, a lot of his misses have turned out to be massively costly. Today is probably the first time his poor finishing hasn't cost us. Must be hard for him to take.

It was far more nervy as a fan than it needed to have been Nice for a change, particularly in the first half, for us to have gotten a result because we were actually really good, and not because the opposition had a bad day. So many times after games I see comments on here such as "they were awful, luckily for us" etc. which you can't say today. We were just really good.

Although I agree, it's frustrating to feel that with a better manager we could be so much more than "very decent". There's no guarantee that a better manager would have done any better with the group we have; there was an awful lot of work to be done to pick the squad's confidence up from rock bottom after last season. People can criticise him for being too safe and not taking more risks, but risks don't always pull come off, and there is/was a genuine likelihood that with such brittle confidence a risk would backfire and cause us considerably more damage. If he does manage to steady the ship, his real test will be what he does from then on. If he's too negative or safe at that point then I'll be sharing your frustration.

Who'd have thought paying a decent amount of money would get you a decent player.
-
He absolutely was in the first half.
-
I think he's probably being overly cautious due to our position tbh. Hopefully if we settle into some kind of form he'll start to take a few more risks if there's a chance it can change the game in our favour.

Mitro will score goals, but he's shooting like he doesn't believe it's going to go in at the moment.
-
Cunts. Had no right to be that stressful!
-
I really bloody hope our wastefulness doesn't cost us what should be an already bagged 3 points.
-
Seems unnecessarily harsh when we've been this dominant. I don't disagree that he still doesn't offer much of anything, but I couldn't give a shit if it works as a partnership. Mitro seems to be my candidate for player not doing his job, as he's showing the standard performance of a striker with no confidence. Really? Mitro's working his ass off and linking up the play really well. Fluffed a chance, mind. The chance where the keeper was massively out of position irked me. He had a perfect angle to just roll it into the bottom corner. As I say, we've played well, so I feel no need to really identify any underperforming player... just if I was pushed...

Seems to be letting a lot go all over the pitch tbh. First 5 minutes I was surprised how many dodgy looking tackles we got away with.

That's exactly what you want from all of our players. Bit of competition will bring out the best in players, even the shit ones.
-
We should be about 5 up. Wish we weren't in such a shit position so I could just enjoy the game care free

Shelvey has been actually outstanding
-
He'll almost certainly start with Colback IMO, alongside Shelvey most likely. The hope is that McLaren will eventually drop him once both the new signings have settled (3 or 4 games).
-
He could break his toe tbf. Pretty irresponsible.
-
Looks like the guy from that Grimm show.

I swear the refs are bent. Smalling and Fellaini should have both walked.
