that Anton Ferdinand is on his way out?

A decent sustained run of 1 -0 vistories would make me happy at the moment, 4 - 3's are too much to bear. I was just thinking on Saturday that Martins can really turn and get his shot in quickly, he will score a lot more of those than he misses in my opinion.

Not easy to answer this question because Roeder tends to be very mono in his interviews, not giving too much away. In fact he tends to repeat the same stuff in a different format most of the time. He is not a screamer, he is not the most passionate man (football related - not sure about anything else) but, he does care. He was a top player and is a good coach. I think his management skills are quite weak and ultimately his statements are watered down with little content of any substance.

I think the club is releasing small clues as to the fruitlessness of this transfer window so that the fans eventually resign themselves to disappointment. It has been clear from the start of the season that we have needed to strengthen in certain departments and if we can see this surely the staff at St James's can also see it and start to plan well in advance of the window opening!! I would have expected to see movement from very early in the month however, now I expect to see us struggle through the season with what we have!! We are one or two injuries away from absolute catastrophy.

Every manager we have had has always sung the praises of Shola. Me, I think he has a very lazy style of play but, seems to pop a few in from time to time. Obviously he has been overdue the surgery for a couple of seasons so when he comes back I would prefer to hold back my judgement until I have seen him in a few games. I would be very happy for Roeder's prediction to come true!

Oh really? Please tell how it is that I have no clue then. Bump... i'd really like to know tbh. Think he has some sort of hernia. Must admitt that when I saw he was the ref for yesterday I was doubtful but, all in all he had a decent game. Consistant with both teams and if anything did us a favour on the Milner goal. http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c011.gif

At away games we outsing the home fans every time, it's just a thing that happens. It tends to be the most fervent supporters (of any team) that attend home and away matches.

Something like this? http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/midi/ekelig/a030.gif

I would say not acceptable, it is widely known that we are in the market for defenders and a striker and we have seen nothing concrete in any website that leads us to believe that deals are about to complete. It is a short window of 31 days and we need to see that the men in charge are doing something for the good of the club!!

I would guess that your view would be constantly interupted by late arrivers and people who need to go to the toilet every 5 minutes and people who have to leave 5 minutes early etc etc.

Found a mobile phone tone of it: http://ringtones.mobilefun.co.uk/monophonic-ringtones/4228_52-Theme-The-Entertainer.htm Hope it works!

I would have to link to my memory mate, I remember from scholl some girl doing a piano reciptal and playing that, I'll have a play and see whether I can find it anywhere.

The tune is called "The Entertainer" not sure where it is from............

I just thought that considering their position in the league, the fact that they almost always win, the fact that they have the best players in the world and an owner with more money than sense they are the quietest fans in the Premier League!! I was at the match and if we were not singing the stadium was silent, luckily we didn't stop singing much!! I had a bit of crack with some of the London boys while I was stuck in the crowd waiting for their version of the Metro and they all said the atmosphere used to be great at Stamford Bridge until the ground was redeveloped and season ticket prices went up stopping most grass roots supporters from going to the games. A lot of the ground is corporate with some seats £1000 per game, they are like armchairs apparently and you get a meal / drinks but, £1000 jeez!! Seats on the side stands start at £110 per game!!

Didn't Man Utd sing a song about going to Glasgow a couple of seasons ago? Follow follow follow, Because United are going to Glasgow, There'll be thousands of reds, they'll all be pissed out their heads, Because United are going to Glasgow. Think that was how it went, they still sing it now (occasionally).

This one wins My vote for this one as well.

I'm going, just "happen" to be in London on business tomorrow so I thought while I am down there it would be rude not to support the lads.

A bit like Robbie Keene but, different (and probably worse) is Earnshaw. That forward sommersault and machine gun thing he does makes me want to kill him.
-
It's good that they are going to give them to the people who bothered to advise the club that they did not get one at the game, whether it's posted or collected........ Good on the club I say!

Unfortunately i was late (f*****g Metro Centre traffic) and they'd run out at my turnstile. I was happy to accept that but when i got up stairs and the greedy bastard on my right had 3 under his seat then I was a bit miffed so say the least - they were for his bairns he claimed. So on that basis i have e-mailed the club to see if they can provide me one considering they'd promised scarves for ALL supporters AT THE GAME. I just think there's a principle here and why should some suffer due to the greed of certain individuals. I did say please and await a response. Would be really interested in know what their response was. I also got to the game late as the Metro's were all running late (and were full to bursting point) but, my turnstyle on the Milburn Stand had plenty of scarves, they even had a few left as we were leaving after the game. I will be taking mine, probably.........
-
Has anyone actually written to or called NUFC to let them know that they did not receive their scarf? Just wondered because I guarentee that there are some left, there were only 48k people at the game on Sunday and I recon they will have bought at least 55k scarves so somewhere there will be some left...... Worth a try?

Anyone remember this faux pas? http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y13/MarkPinkney/th_boumsogn.jpg

Him and Shola are the only two players I know who actually get smaller when they jump to head a ball.

We also have a home game on Thursday 23rd against Celta Vigo in the UEFA Cup, I would guess that Roeder wouldn't risk any of the bigger named players as he will probably want to use them in that game. Particularly when he has been harping on about how tired the players are as they have to play 2 games a week till the end of the year.
