In James' 28 years, he thinks he's our third best manager? I'd have him just above JFK, Souness and Asdaprice myself. Comfortably below McFaul, Smith, Ossie, KK, Dogleash , Gullit, Roeder and Hughton.

You mean, "Glenn Roeder's not making excuses but. ........" said Glenn Roeder.

Ive had the first three at Aintree. Fourth horse in the lucky 15 is Riverside Theatre in the last.

If we stick with status quo sooner or later we are definitely going down down.
-
You'd be hard pushed to find a worse than option tbh.

Love Spudil's work btw. Consistently brings a smile to my face

Scored against us last year Aye . Twice Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo against anyone else but us.

I remember last year when 7th placed Liverpool rocked up at St James without Luiz Suarez. We fancied our chances. Lost 6-0. Could easily happen again.

Hopefully Moyes will rest a few Saturday now. Actually it won't matter if he slips in Cleverley et al , we'll still get a bollocking.

Schwein of the Steiger he's the cream of the fight. Rising up to the challenge of his rivals.

If we are going to persist with Bassett Pardew then surely it would make sense to give him the target man he so clearly needs and of that kind of player, there is no better than Andy Carroll in this country anyhow.

Love Danny Welbeck's work ethic.

You can get 7-1 on Manchester United winning tonight. For those that don't know about betting, it means if you bet 10 pounds on Manchester United to win, you lose 10 pounds.

^^^ And the Spanish league is one Ronny likes. Clearly not too much if he's judging sides by their number of points on the board. Nobody said they were high quality teams. Was just a match I expected to deliver entertainment in and it did just that. You've spent five months defending Pardew off the back of points on the board you bloody hypocrite. Words fail me. Aye words fail me too... I know they do.

The decent football that we played has either been away from home, on the back of a dominant Cabaye performance or both.
-
Good question, he's done nothing anytime I've seen him The only thing I can think of is he's almost a palindrome.

You're just regretting your choice! If I stuck, I'd be watching Newcastle murder Tottenham right now. Seems I've been blaming the wrong Mike

I use McCarthy.

Men vs Boys here. You would think Spurs with all the money they've spent, would be a good bet for Champions league but due to some strange decisions they really are in no man's land.

Giggsing myself here but minimal unless we get Chris de Boer.

I was saying this same thing to my neighbour yesterday and he agreed and started getting really angry ,jacked his season ticket after the last renewal and said would never go back till Ashley is gone ,team rebuild in summer ffs half will jump ship and rest not good enough .Imho relegation a definite sadly :'( I look at this 'team' and it's not been built to stay together. It's a shop window to advertise goods, they leave and the next goods go on display. That's all we are these days. We have attracted those kind of players as well just like the last regime attracted players looking for their last payday living off former glories. I kind of agree with that but where this "plan" falls down is that the players are supposed to improve and thereby increase in value. With the exception of Cabaye that is not happening and at best there will only be a modest profit. Ben Arfa was supposed to be the "crown jewels" but they will be lucky to get their money back on him now. And with Pardew making it clear we want rid, any buying club knows they can drive the price down. However our only hope may well be that Ashley takes his head out of his arse and realises that these players that he's invested in for whatever reason are regressing under Pardew's tutelage and the profit he expected to make on transfers of these players won't be happening.

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread

It's just a shame that Stephen Hawking isn't up to a bit of gay rape. -
Sunderland - like Newcastle are a difficult team to manage. Place & Pulis are a great fit. Palace would be delighted to have 5 consecutive years in the Premiership playing hoofball - despite producing some very talented footballers. Sunderland on the other hand..... make otherwise decent managers (based on previous jobs and current jobs MON & Bruce are decent) look terrible. MON isn't otherwise decent at all. Villa are still paying for his stint there. Ask brummie about how decent O'Neill is.
