  1. That tastes like horse shit and I should know, I've tasted horse shit. You talk shit.
  2. Brilliant at defending deep. Can he push up and defend well though? He has the pace and reading of the game to defend where he likes tbh. Of course in such a negatively set out Chelsea side he was always going to be defending deep.
  3. Liverpool are top of the league with John f*cking Flanagan a key part of the back 4, seriously this is getting way overplayed. A class manager would make this team a CL qualifier. Flanagan has been fantastic this year. should be in the England team, too. Give it a break. Flanagan in the England team? I've heard it all. I've seen almost every Liverpool game this year and he's been excellent. He's actually been their best defender. He gets forward really well(goal against spurs, penalty against West Ham, the sublime turn on evra and then setting up Coutino). He's usually the pass before the pass. Him and suarez link up time and time again. The guy's a beast. His only weakness is heading. I'd have him at RB tbh in the England team with Baines on the left. Flanagan was playing at RB earlier before Johnson returned. Johnson has been poor there. Liverpool fans call him the Scouse Cafu for the way he gets up and down the pitch. Definitely the most underrated player this season. Agree totally about Flanagan. Of all the back 4 in the Liverpool side, he's actually been the most dependable.
  4. Gary Cahill has developed into a top International defender. Been outstanding tonight
  5. I would imagine CQ's stock will be pretty high after he leads Iran to WC Quarter-finals. But the football he has played (as a manager, as opposed to assistant) will be found boring and uninspiring for Man Utd' support. He's a good shout actually and with his knowledge of not just the club but the League full stop, I reckon he'd be the best choice.
  6. I remember when I thought Ashley was gonna splash the cash for an Aero.
  7. Plenty of Villa fans in Coventry and Nuneaton too. Hardly any Blues fans though.
  8. I'd rate him a better England manager than Bobby.
  9. Never ever have I ever felt so low.
  10. Agree. Carrick looks like his best days have gone and Fletcher although a good pro hasn't looked the same player unsurprisingly since his ailments. I don't think Fletcher has ever really been that good. Just one of those that Taggart could make work well within his team and would no doubt look poor elsewhere. That's what I meant by good pro Jonny. Always gives 100% etc etc.

  12. Not Moyes' fault Man U have such a poor defence out there. He isn't spoilt for choice defender wise agreed. I thought Jonny Evans coming back might help but obviously not.
  13. Baines horrifically committing himself there
  14. Jones is a mistake waiting to happen. Will be a good player if and when he eradicates them.
  15. The corporate/business style letter motivation thing he did was cringey as f***, but apart from that i would agree with you. Didn't know he'd retired at 20 as a player. Our clown and this just goes to show that if you have a half decent playing career that you will know jack buggery all about it as a coach. That's not accurate, there's plenty of brilliant players who have also done well as manager (it's stretching it to say that Pardew's playing career was half decent tbh, in length maybe, nothing else) but what is true though is that there is very little correlation between the two, yet clubs right throughout England still make the mistake of looking at somebody's name and deciding that's enough reason to give someone the manager's job. It's extraordinary really. He was shite as a player, famous only for a scrambled Cup Semi winning goal but aside from that he was about as good at playing and managing too as Stevie Wonder would be as a navigator.
  16. Arsenal's return to form will figure significantly in Pardle's excuses next week I reckon.
  17. Mental ain't it. In fact the opposite could be said as the pressure of a title campaign comes to a head, Sterling has contributed more and more each week.
  18. Not at international level no, Baines has already been at fault for goals at a regular occurrence for England and i'm not convinced Shaw would be any better. There's a big difference between performing in the PL than it is performing against the very best at an international tournament. Cole is the only one we can trust and he hasn't played.... Gibbs is probably the best defensively of all the younger fullbacks we have but he's not as exciting going forward. Regular? Nah.
  19. Michael Turner couldn't tackle a fish supper.
  20. Without a doubt. What? He will definitely play for England. LOL. I hope he does and I hope he does like he just did. First doesn't go up for a header and they score and in the next sequence gets an unnecessary yellow. He's a young kid but for one so young his mistakes have been few and far between. Augurs well for a bright International future.
