I know he gets some stick from us but Jenas was fucking good too under Sir Bobby.
-
Colo would be the killer. He will be leaving sooner rather than later anyway and has been proved we can't cope. We would cope better if the manager selected the correct players to fill in for him.

Given Beye Woodgate Albert Jose Solano Lee Speed Ginola Beardsley Shearer
-
Bit unfair to include Glass, he was ok imo. Should have slipped in Garry Brady instead.
-
Just a fantastic footballer full stop.....and it is for that very reason that you couldn't play Colo alongside him. Colo's main attribute, imo of course, is his actual footballing ability....distribution, positioning that kind of thing. I'd want a bona fide out and out defender with either. Albert had Howey and Peacock but imagine him with Woodgate who had all of what Colo has plus a bit of pace and better in the air too.
-
I honestly think it's the other way round and people are forgetting how good Woodgate was. Absolutely
-
Of course, your views on Woodgate are tainted by the Middlesbrough pub incident.
-
That's rubbish man. I've never seen Woodgate actually frightened of an opponent like I have with Colo a few times.
-
Woodgate for me. Despite not having him for anywhere near long enough. Had everything. Good in the air. Pace and read the game fantastically. And he had heart too. Something Colo has lacked at certain times.

I thought Pardew had a say with Carr over transfers, when we last made some. *resisted the urge to use ancient names to poke fun at our non existent transfer policy.

I couldn't believe Wenger pulled Cazorla tbh. If there's one Arsenal player with less stamina and work rate than Ozil... it's Cazorla Nah.

Of course he would. He prefers Steven Taylor and Mike Williamson over MYM so I'd say it's a given.
-
It wouldn't matter a jot if he watched us play more regular because as we've seen with his decisions, what Ashley knows about football you could fit on a postage stamp and still have room for the Lord's prayer.
-
Of course he has, he's the archetypal yes man. Who are you a yes man for when you manage England? Still not going in. Sorry. Unless you mean why and not who? In which case as someone said earlier, the FA tend to go for the safe option. See Clough vs Greenwood.

There's that pretty tidy lass who is head of PR isn't there? I want to say Louise Taylor but I think she's the mackem gargoyle. Wendy Taylor.
-
Yeah that's bound to be the reason.
-
I will never forget how he helped stop us turning into a Yorkshire club who once played in the Champions league or a southern club from a naval town who won the FA cup fairly recently.
-
What a mental decision Demichelis has made there.
-
He would, even before looking at the technical deficiencies, absolutely loathe the lack of energy up front mainly but throughout the team in general.
-
Yes they've definitely upped their game.
-
To be fair, they're playing a different sport to Manchester City at the moment.

Cjty having to soak up the pressure here. Have hardly touched the ball
