The handball rule itself is just as much a problem as VAR though. As is the punishment of a penalty being so out of proportion to the offence. IMO there should be almost no handballs in a PL season, only where a person has stopped the ball with their hand and clearly meant to do it in order to stop a goal-scoring opportunity like a dangerous cross or shot.

I just think we were in a position of crisis management to various extents through the season, rarely in a position where Howe believed we could experiment, introduce new things and risk introducing a player like Woltemade slowly like we would've wanted. I don't think this season necessarily means that we'll never be able to get anything out of Nick.

Can't see any point in selling him now. If teams like Forest can have Awoniyi/Wood/Jesus for basically the same position or Palace can have 3, surely we can carry a selection of strikers.
