  1. He's not a disgrace overnight, but I've very disappointed in this. The fact he even asked for it is a major let down for me. If he wanted more time with the family he should just retire and save NUFC £Xk a week. Of course he's entitled to ask for whatever he wants, but he shouldn't have done IMO. He's been a great servent for us, but this still make me think slightly less of him TBH.
  2. Yes, but you're also a full blown retard.
  3. Plus, I think it does make it a bit easier TBH. Now I can focus on how he's a knob rather than how he's a class player who we sold. It helps me anyway.
  4. I don't think he used a gun, he stalked his prey and slammed one individual paintball onto them by hand.
  5. Don't understand the point of this post, nobody was arguing he wasn't a class player for us.
  6. Can't remember the last time a player was fit earlier than expected.
  7. I think equality is also important for a harmonious dressing room, it's always dangerous if there's a preferred group of players. With the influx of new players from abroad, I'm tempted to say it's just as well we don't have Barton and Nolan strutting round like they own the place. Bet they can be a right pain in the arse for other players.
  8. Still consider him to be a total cunt for this comment. Players should have no right to question their employers so publicly on things like players sales and transfer policies. If the club want to sell high (as all mid-table clubs do), move the dross on and then instead of spending big on replacements, opt for gambling on players who've fell out of favour elsewhere, or sign hungry players looking to make the step up, or bring through some of the youth players, then who the fuck is he to pass judgement on a policy like that? Especially when "Andy, Nobby, etc etc" were players who developed into "major players of the team" because of such a transfer policy. Same, I like him but like Nolan and Barton he should have kept his mouth shut on these issues. Footballers always get attached to their teammates and think they're brilliant and irreplaceable, they're about the least qualified to comment on this stuff.
  9. If Harper wants to be one of our keepers, he should sit on the bench whenever and wherever he's asked to, every week. This bollocks about watching his kids play is complete shit IMO. Very disappointed if he really has asked for that. If he's done with being a footballer then he should retire.
  10. Stupid system where you can't buy a player for what you sold him for even if he doesn't play in between. Never understood why you don't get 100% of the sale value.
  11. Thats ni surprise, he is there all the time Gorman's is excellent TBF.

    Alan Pardew

The photos in general from the painballing are epic. Tiote looks fucking scary.
  13. Spot on as usual quayside, someone needs to give people the facts. TBF I'm enjoying the forum again at the moment, more talk about football and less bollocks about the ownership.
  14. Might just be the normal thing that fans and media do. A few years ago it was trendy to claim players were earning 60k, now it's 90 or 110. Doubt if anyone in public really knows. And even if they did, both wages are as crazy as each other.
  15. Do they? I've always been told everyone's is this size.
  16. Think that's taking it a bit far, isn't it just the normal rumour and speculation that surrounds these things?
  17. I don't want a Butt toilet TBH, or a Luque water feature. And the mind boggles about what's in the Boumsong basement.
  18. His consistency is amazing now, playing Carling Cup games as well FFS. Just as well like, as we'd be fooked if he got injured.
  19. Aye, was going to mention, but I didnt want to stir a hornets nest. The fact is that (barring a freak injury) Jonas will still be a useful player while Kevin Nolan will be unable to move. Sad but true. I didn't really want to sell Nolan, but giving him more than a couple of years more would have been madness. Maybe even that would have been too much TBH.
  20. Interesting point IMO, was David Beckham limited because he could only cross and pass brilliantly and he couldn't dribble or carry the ball? Maybe he was, but he was still a brilliant player. I know Jonas has weaknesses, but overall the only conclusion I can come to is that he's good to watch and very important to the team.

That Albert goal is possibly the best moment I've ever witnessed in football, ridiculously good. And against Schmeichel as well!
