Don’t agree, Bruno is brilliant in the middle position. We just need people who can run, pass and control the ball to put with him. The signing of Tonali very much suggests Bruno is staying at 6.

Is he any better than Lascelles?

Tucking into the back three has to be the reason that Burn has played so much. So the question is whether we still want that.

I think the yellow card threshold must have changed in some way? People seem able to bring someone down and stop a counter now, without getting booked. Used to be automatic.

There are just no athletes in that midfield for defending. And also Longstaff makes loads of mistakes and Miley is a bit tentative due to being a kid. That said, I find it a bit pointless to analyse since we’re only playing them as a last resort.

Should’ve had another incredible assist when he went down the left and put it across the goal line.

I felt like Bruno was playing further forward due to desperation to get goals quickly, I’m not convinced it’s part of any long term plan.

Personally thought the penalty was very very soft. Of course the lad rinsed Burn but it was barely a foul.

I think Joelinton and Tonali for Longstaff and Miley would solve almost as much as replacing Burn. I’ve never rated Burn at LB but there are also lots of problems that Howe can’t fix because his tools have been taken away.

Had no doubt whatsoever he would score, finishes so naturally.

My main takeaway was that we had probably half a team out today that is more mid-table or lower than European contender. It’s not surprising we can’t control or dominate the game with such limited players making up a lot of the team. I respect all of our lads but Longstaff, Miley, Murphy, Burn, Almiron and arguably Wilson are more Luton quality than Arsenal quality. It’s a natural part of our progression but we still have too many average players to be confident of consistent wins. Of course, take them out and replace them with the lads we have injured and we destroy Luton 9 times out of 10.

He got taken to town today but the penalty was exceptionally soft.
