It’s not really about expectations, it’s just a crushing disappointment to go from attending every game to attending a very small number (and not having a clue which ones they’ll be). I realise it’s not a logical position, because I had an advantage in the previous system. And I guess I have to assume that everyone in the ballot deserves a ticket just as much as anyone else. It just changes the experience of being a fan a lot. Guess I have come to terms with it until we have enough seats or until the team gets bad again. I realise it’s an overreaction, but if I thought I could only get to 4 home games a season I might consider having to give NUFC a much smaller place in my life. I was used to that when I didn’t live here. I’m still working out what to do TBH, and maybe it’ll be better than I think. We’ll see.
