Much, much better.
-
At least you didn’t have to watch it.
-
He’s just not that good.
-
Doesn’t really matter, presumably everyone has him as captain.
-
Got Cash on the bench, depending on if Foden comes on. Dire week in general.

None of this matters. We’ll put together the best team and the best prepared plan we can, and we’ll see what happens. We know we’re a good team, let’s go and impose ourselves on the game. -
0 likeability.

Probably playing.

It’s mad that they’re allowed that brick pit at the side of Old Trafford. Absolute death trap.
-
Gibbs-White having a poor game.
-
Guess he’d have been dropped ages ago if there were any options and he didn’t cost so much.
-
Yeah, I was thinking along those lines. Not really that hard once you think about it for a second.
-
Popped him in my FPL team this week.

On pronunciations… Awon-yee Awon-ee-yee?

Feel sorry for Richarlison like, obviously mentally fragile and just on a massive downer at the moment.

The department could’ve been transformed if they had started it on day one, but I guess it wouldn’t have been a priority. Even a new website and online booking system could easily take over a year and cost into the millions. This is why I think fan experience is the best lens to look at it through. We know all 52k tickets are going to sell every game, and the revenue from that is there no matter how badly the club handle it. I can imagine you would put this department quite low down on the list of priorities when you arrive as owners, because it’s not critical to the success of the team or club. But it is critical to keeping fans happy. Hopefully at some point they will shift the thinking to be more about engaging with fans and creating a great experience for us, and not just the mechanical issues of selling the tickets. But it will need people to be brought in with a different mindset and given the power to implement things they want.

Anything like digital and ticketing being under the marketing part of the organisation is quite old fashioned. In a modern organisation you’d more likely find it under customer experience or something along those lines. The ticketing team could own the ticketing policies but they should be developed and implemented with fan experience and digital customer experience people right at the heart of it. I’m hoping that whole part of the club will be overhauled soon. Ideally you’d want someone with real executive presence running it so they can represent that angle at board level as well. As everyone has said, still feels like a skeleton old fashioned Mike Ashley style setup.

I still can’t believe the first one happened. -
Not sure, I know one why hates Portugal but she’s not really a football fan anyway

South Americans will watch it? Not sure about anywhere else but Brazilians seem fairly passionate about their own league. Guess if they watch any PL they can watch Saudi instead.

The PL put out a video of Szoboslai "dominating the midfield", which included a couple of minor interceptions, one through ball and a dive for a penalty -
Never seen Beto before, looks massive.

I knew that bit
