Everyone has an entrenched position on Miggy so it’s a fairly pointless discussion. Every time he does something class one camp will be proved right, whenever he has a quiet game the other will.

Assumed this was a “would’ve been the different for us last night” thread bump.

Think the two biggest officiating mistakes were not sending off the woman for kicking the ball away and the fact that our keeper was miles off her line for the penalty save.

Very disappointing play like, not putting together any attacks at all. Not sure what the plan is. As we found out last night, very difficult when the opponent is that comfortable keeping the ball.

It would still be very difficult for them to get enough of the ball.

Kind of, I think we lack people who can do that under extreme pressure. But against most opponents we can counter well. I don’t think we will transition to possession football so it’ll always be a balance between technique and other attributes.

TBF I don’t think we would have brought Longstaff on except for the amount of yellow cards flying about.

It sounded like Howe wanted us to press but we just didn’t know execute.

We might never get to the point where Man City can’t play around us TBH, they can do it almost anyone in the world. Interesting to see Howe say we wanted to press then and get into them, because we definitely didn’t do it.
