I would ideally like someone really experienced if Trippier leaves, like Wolves did with Moutinho. But I’m guessing we won’t be thinking like that.

I know what you mean but it feels mad that he would cost anywhere near what those two cost, given he’s twice as good as either of them and proven in the PL.

Only way to get him at a 'reasonable' price is when his contract is nearly up. At the moment I don't think he's affordable for anyone. Maybe if he went on strike and demanded a move or something, but I can't see that.

I honestly think he's 'almost' as good as anyone else in our team TBH, some of the things he attempts show incredible technique and awareness. If anything he maybe tries too much and turns down simpler options, but when it works it's glorious.
