Ah right, I meant it just wasn't they're 'not willing to follow instructions'. It's also that their confidence is shot, they're used to losing, things are going wrong, the pressure is on, some are looking at the summer or the WC, etc etc. We need to refresh the players but I don't think the main reason is they're not willing. It's lack of confidence in some cases and lack of ability in others (with overlap obviously).

I want one but I always expected these games to be very up and down due to our shattered confidence and lack of ball players on the pitch. No matter what happens it’s still one bad season and he should get the chance to go again. It’s much easier to rebuild the ship in the summer than it is in the heat of the battle.

If Kai Havertz can play up front for Arsenal then I'm convinced Nick can do well here.

Honestly if Gateshead had a better stadium it would be really hard to resist going. People know I used to love my Bromley trips when I lived down south. Non-league is brilliant.

I don't think anyone denies the buck stops with him, that phrase means he is ultimately responsible. It doesn't mean he's literally to blame for everything and it certainly doesn't (necessarily) mean the answer is to sack him if we have a bad season.

I never believed Vlach was that bad, just wasn't considered because Eddie and club didn't really want to buy him. Makes a lot of sense to keep him next season although not sure he would be on board with it when he could be first choice somewhere sunny. Getting rid of Ramsdale and Pope would be refreshing as well. TBH at this point I'd almost be prepared to start him next season
