Ah right, I meant it just wasn't they're 'not willing to follow instructions'. It's also that their confidence is shot, they're used to losing, things are going wrong, the pressure is on, some are looking at the summer or the WC, etc etc. We need to refresh the players but I don't think the main reason is they're not willing. It's lack of confidence in some cases and lack of ability in others (with overlap obviously).

4-2-3-1 seems obvious but the 2 CMs would have to get about a lot.

Arsenal vs. Newcastle United: 25/04/26 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)

Obviously we'll probably lose but we usually do better in bigger games, and Arsenal are vulnerable if we could ever score. -
I don't think those are the only options mind.

That's the pointlessness of the "if Eddie stays and doesn't improve we'll be in a relegation battle" question. I didn't bring that up. Obviously nobody would want to keep Eddie if they thought he would never do better than he's doing now. It's a pointless thing to say.

Yeah but the point is it’s still a debate about if we’ll turn it around or we won’t. And that also applies to a new manager. So it doesn’t really add anything to say how bad we are now, we know that.
-
Think it’s a bit pessimistic to think we’ll be this bad forever.
-
That might be just because you get much more engagement when you add a photo rather than plain text. Doesn’t look great in this context admittedly.

I want one but I always expected these games to be very up and down due to our shattered confidence and lack of ball players on the pitch. No matter what happens it’s still one bad season and he should get the chance to go again. It’s much easier to rebuild the ship in the summer than it is in the heat of the battle.

If Kai Havertz can play up front for Arsenal then I'm convinced Nick can do well here.
-
Seems a bit extreme he's definitely leaving the club

Newcastle United 1-2 AFC Bournemouth: 18/04/26 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

I only remember James but wiki says Marcus was here as well. -
Very fair, but I guess that just leads us back to everyone's own opinion about whether they would sack him.
-
Honestly if Gateshead had a better stadium it would be really hard to resist going. People know I used to love my Bromley trips when I lived down south. Non-league is brilliant.
-
I don't think anyone denies the buck stops with him, that phrase means he is ultimately responsible. It doesn't mean he's literally to blame for everything and it certainly doesn't (necessarily) mean the answer is to sack him if we have a bad season.
-
I've never played one of his videos and never will, so I can only say I'm sure he's a fuckwit.

I never believed Vlach was that bad, just wasn't considered because Eddie and club didn't really want to buy him. Makes a lot of sense to keep him next season although not sure he would be on board with it when he could be first choice somewhere sunny. Getting rid of Ramsdale and Pope would be refreshing as well. TBH at this point I'd almost be prepared to start him next season -
What's the significance of bottom 25%?

I’m sure we are. Players that is. This is really the first window for ages we’ve had a proper setup in place.
-
What a pointless thing to say.

At the minute? Erm no

Most people don’t want PL players.

Listening on the radio and didn't realise he was playing.
