  1. Is that true? All I can see on Insta is his family arriving back in England and him saying how much he has missed them.
  2. Been on a bit of a drought recently. I’ll see what I can do
  3. Surely if any other PL club is interested then he’s good enough to be a backup striker here. Not based on what he’s done so far, obviously. But in theory.
  4. Reds have some real fret, blues have quality in key positions. Admittedly the whites have me and Finninho.
  5. Every time I look at a different team I think they're the favourites. Should be tight.
  6. My FC Goa white kit was only posted last night despite ordering on Sunday I’ll try not to let it affect my game.
  7. I can judge Steve Bruce, he's shite.
  8. It's incredibly difficult to judge managers really, I basically don't bother. Depends so much on players they have, money they have, circumstances they're in etc.
  9. I’m not attached to him as a player really, but our attack looks awful without him. At least 2 attackers needed, ideally 3. Also selling our most high profile player 2 years in a row isn’t a great look.
  10. Yeah, does seem like that from reading more carefully. Just interesting if your position is fixed just based on the last 2 years. Can you drop down if you stop going as often, for example?
  11. We can't possibly lose 3 purples. I think 1. The one I would sell would probably be Tino but noises are obviously for Gordon.
  12. I'm wondering if it will be a literal list or just a pot of 250 tickets they'll sell to Pot 1? Depends what's planned for future seasons I guess. Wondering if it's win/lose or like "you have been given position 300, so next year you'll probably get one".
  13. I don't really get the point of this given how small the chances are, but obviously I'll join.
  14. I guess I should be in Pot 1, but I'm sure a lot of people are. Wonder if it will be constant rolling periods, like you have to keep attending 75% of games every year to stay in P1...
  15. I don’t mind if Gordon goes specifically, but potentially needing to buy a whole new front 3 in one summer isn’t easy. And he’s the best attacker we have, despite not being world class.
  16. Have been rejected by a few minor celebrities on Tinder, doesn’t surprise me so much.
  17. I generally agree with this, all I’d say on it is that we likely believed we were going to be very attractive to players and were entering another phase of our development. And I guess we didn’t have anyone in place to say if that might be been a bit naive given wages other clubs can pay. And/or the people needed to identify those other targets reliably? I also think we were unlucky that literally every major target fancied a different move. We might have been allowed to land a couple.
  18. Why were you astounded?
  19. Yeah, and it only smells off because we made some bad signings. Before that it was pretty much fine.
  20. Nobody thinks we had a good summer, I’m not sure what we’re debating sometimes
  21. I’m not sure, Arteta might do. Probably not Carrick since he’s caretaker. I don’t want an all-powerful manager (and I don’t think we have one) but since Howe was basically the football club and the only functioning professional who had achieved absolutely loads, I think the best continuity could be achieved by him having some input. Assuming the club believed he was likely to be our long-term manager. Seems like all he did was a form of view about whether they will have a good relationship with Wilson so I feel like it’s acceptable. And again, we don’t know if Wilson is not good so this whole discussion could well be moot.
  22. I never said he didn't have a say, he should have a say. It's just usually trotted out that Wilson was chosen because of a previous relationship with Howe which does not exist. "Who do you want Eddie?", "My mate Scott", is not something that happened. Also we don't know if Wilson is actually going to be good yet, so how is he a bad choice?
  23. We have some very wasteful players in key positions, exacerbated by low confidence I'm sure. Tonali, Tino, Gordon, in particular Murphy. And Elanga since he hasn't lived up to expectations yet. So many of our attacks break down due to simple mistakes. Agree coaching will be a part of it, probably part of the reason the short time on the training ground this season has hurt us.
