I guess the club has transformed now, it must be a great place to work. And he's learning from a world-class manager. That might be better than a season playing football at the bottom of the Championship. TBH I'm not sure he even has the legs for that now, although he does have the technique.

I wouldn't conclude anything about our strategy based on being linked to someone cheaper. We knew we wouldn't buy all superstars, doesn't mean we won't get one or two.

Without Kane they're a mid-table club, so they will have to set their targets and ambitions accordingly for next season. A season of building, without any major crises, followed by Europa League would be a good year IMO.

I'm trying not to stress too much this summer, we have a good team already and we have the right people trying to improve the squad. Shouldn't really need to panic like under Ashley.

I didn’t notice any refereeing that would wind Mourinho up as much as that, although I only saw the second half. Seemed like just both camps were determined to act like children and behave disgracefully on the sideline. Especially Roma. Should’ve been sent off really.
