Yeah of course, it’s always better to have more players than less. But I mean, that’s just a truism you can say in any situation. It just feels like everything is in great hands. Giving out scores like 5/10 seems a bit silly to me. Makes for good debate though.

Bruno getting injured is a disaster no matter who we sign. No matter if we have Shelvey or we don’t. What I’m focused on is steps in the right direction, making good moves and getting the average players out. Which they clearly are doing as fast as they’re able.

People are probably right that Bernardo will want to go to Barca, like everyone seems to want. But Barca on Tyne would be better for him IMO.

I think bringing in so much proven PL quality, with experience working for Pep, would be a bigger statement. Perfect for what we need and perfect for our system. As people have said, I guess he will want Spain so not worth debating too much.

Expect the same team as well, hope to overwhelm them in the normal way and take a chance this time. Then still have two very dangerous attackers for later in the match. Would be happy either way mind, but I think the fact we are dominating most games is the deciding factor for the manager.

We really should make Bernado Silva our first really iconic signing.

As Rodney says, more likely they will defend quite deep for the first half (at least) so they don't allow us to end the tie.

I dunno, I mean technically we would have one fewer CM. But practically I don’t think it makes any difference to our chances. Still hope we get a CM in of course. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot more 4-2-3-1 with Gordon or even Isak behind the main striker.
