Jorginho can fill in for Xhaka, maybe a bit less so for Partey. Can never be a bad idea to add someone like him to your squad like, lots of quality and experience for the run-in.

In terms of time, yeah. But the difference was that players in the Ba era were explicitly signed to be sold on to someone else. I just don't have any emotional attachment to players from that era (apart from Ben Arfa )

I’d say Gordon and Gallagher have about the same pedigree TBH. Gallagher has that one good loan spell at Palace but still a lot to prove.

He’s more Italian really, but grew up in Brazil until 15. Close enough
