I will not hear you out.

Only potential snag is Kovacic being 28 I guess. And maybe his wages. Class act but obviously a very different type of player to Maddison. Fans would love him since he's rock hard.

Haven't been convinced by him recently like.

The Angel Gabriel must be worth a go.

Spurs stadium in the best in the league by a mile, possibly the best in the world. Incredible design, fans packed in, really steep sides, absolutely class.

Group B: England, Iran, United States, Wales (England and USA qualify)

The US were decent, mainly in their organisation in stopping England playing through. England were awful, for some reason just didn’t engage with the opposition. Maybe because they really knew a draw would put them in control of the group. FWIW I don’t think bringing Henderson on was that bad a move. Added a bit of energy and reduced the chances of losing. Southgate is what he is. I’ll admit the Iran game got me excited, but the overall plan was always to keep it tight and bore our way to a trophy. -

I’d hazard a guess at not much at all -

I wouldn’t say it’s deluded, their point of view is just different. They care about progressing and that’s basically it. -

We know who Southgate is by now. He’s all about trying to grind his way to a trophy. So if he can draw and basically guarantee qualification, or it takes an extra game to win the group, he’ll snap your hand off. The question is always whether you can suddenly produce a better performance when it’s really needed. -

The players just sound like they knew a draw was basically enough to qualify. With that in their mind it’s going to be hard to press intensely and give your all. -

If the areas list on the website is accurate then there are 100-400 left per section. Dunno how much that adds up to or if it's good or bad -
Kane's way of 'holding the ball up' is quite unique really, coming so deep and then looking for a forward pass.

Absolutely dire. Now lecturing Enrique about squad management even though this match is about as intense as a kickabout in the back garden. -

Reckon I could have quite a good game for Spain in this one. -
Only chance would be if MBS was making transfer decisions directly. Which he clearly isn’t.

Jesus Christ.

The result is really amazing, I just wish it didn't involve Saudi so idiots in our fanbase wouldn't need to get involved.

But it is?

I don't understand what she's meant to be outraged about

What are you on about? There’s no debate at all about Kane’s place. Secondly, an intelligent assist will only go down well with Southgate. Oddest take for a while.
