The problem is we never play against anyone good until a critical knockout game. Which we then lose.

Even Sterling's place is open to debate, with the amount of great players in those positions.
  3. Even Wilson’s only been good for quite a short period. He looked broken and sick of playing before he got injured.
  4. Also the offside rule was invented with built-in benefit of the doubt to attackers.
  5. Kind of makes you wonder what the point of the analysis is.
  6. Weird they decided to broadcast a Man City training session on cup final day, but it’s entertaining in its own way.
  7. “Did you have that guy murdered, cut up and smuggled out of the country in bags?”
  8. Foden does move a lot like Iniesta now.
  9. I’d love to know what they’re drugging Kane up on to get him back so quickly all the time.
  10. I think 2 is about right, still would feel there are reasons for a 3 but I’d probably be being pessimistic.
  11. We won’t have a go, we’ll sit back and hope ASM does something.
  12. Get it out first day of next season.
  13. Thing is, the technology doesn’t even make half the decisions. It just creates another set of circumstances that a human can use to mess up. May as well just let them mess up in the normal way and keep the game flowing.
  14. Really disappeared in the second half mind, could be fatigue or Liverpool working out better defence I guess.
  15. They’ve talked about AI umpires in baseball but I really hope they don’t do it.

    Joe Willock

Of course we didn’t, the whole reason he’s here is so we don’t have to buy anyone.
  17. I don’t think the amount of wrong decisions was excessive before VAR, it’s was just the focus of the media and the conversation for some reason. They prefer that than talking about why teams actually won and lost. Personally I think we should just accept that football isn’t an exact science and that there will be mistakes.
  18. Happy to move down to a 2 now, very unlikely.
  19. I can only assume he shared a Greggs-fuelled night of passion with Steve Bruce.
  20. I get what you mean, I suppose I just never thought it was likely. At the end of the day the PL is a members club, and punishing 6 of their biggest and most important members just seems unlikely. I'd be happy to see something happen to them mind, don't get me wrong.
  21. Punishment isn't massively important to me, it's more important to make some reforms to the game. Obviously not confident they will happen either.
  22. Think we have to remember the imperative to scare the public into not breaking the rules, and the differing opinion between scientists. TBH I don't think the BBC et al should be making headlines about this kind of thing.
  23. Yeah, about the same number who say we'll have population-level immunity by end of summer. Seems like these opinions differ a lot.
