I was thinking about the "Where there is unity" flag today and it upset me. I want to do the same, similar theme but it will say on the left side "Where there was unity and belief" then on the right side "There is only misery". Same styling. It wont make any difference but I imagine Caulkin would pick it up and do a piece on the comparison probably. Maybe a Picture of the squad celevrating on the left and a picture of Bruce in a tracksuit and despondancy after conceding on the right.

I think Joelinton could be an upgrade for us. He's obviously more versatile, looks like he offers the same qualities as Rondon, probably pacier but is also able to carry the ball forward which should add another dimension to our attack. Dennis Wise told me this. Yes he could, but we have no depth at CF. I'm starting to sound like I'm defending our transfer business but Gayle, Muto, Joelinton, Almiron, Maxim and Carroll are our forwards/strikers. There aren't too many teams with that many options for their front line and I'd argue that they're by no means dross. Muto is still an unknown quantity and Gayle as our 5/6th option isn't a bad one to have. You are right in theory, it's not bad but Steve Bruce is our manager.

It's great PR sort of but that video would never have happened under Rafa. It's interesting as actually all we have done is replace Perez and Rondon to an extent bu both though are unproven and signed a leftback. We are too light in midfield but none of this matters as Bruce will start every game with Colback as he works hard in training and runs around a lot giving away a load of freekicks in dangerous positions. We are still down from last season Willems aside and we have gone to one of the best managers in the world to someone who hovers a fair bit below mediocre.

He basically says he tries things to make things more difficult. He looks like he has excellent technique and skill but pisses around when he doesn't need to. If he focussed on achieving goals and an end product he could be excellent but he will get a couple of games under Bruce and then he will be dropped for Colback somehow. He is a Geordie , a grafter and puts his body on the line for the team after all.
