I'd bring Chris Wood back on loan in jan tbh if we can do it on the cheap. I don't think we've got much money and he'd be useful so we can maintain shape and press but give Isak and wilson a bit more rest for say last 20 mins of games we are cruising in.

I think we missed him earlier but now our system has clicked and gets better game by game. He still has a major part to play and will be crucial for us as him and Barnes coming back from injury and up to speed will be like fresh players when all are cream crackered.

I think he's not getting the credit he deserves, his runs into the box are quality and well timed. He's limited in ways but his finishing is getting better. Eddie sees him as a goal scoring midfielder. If he keeps improving his finishing he can be quality.

Trippier is great when we are on the front foot but he also fucking exceptional at set pieces. He's not so great defensively against teams like this. It's hard to take his set pieces out of the team but Tonali is cracking on set plays as well. It's a tough one. I imagine Tonali will start, he is used to and well-suited to these games even if not our system. Tino needs to start. We've got into a situation where 2 of of most impressive player performances this season have come from right-backs. Hall needs a chance at Leftback at some point though. Not PSG though, but I don't want Burn there either. Targett is solid but doesn't offer much more than Burn in terms of a different dimension.

I agree, he is top level. He will develop into one of the best forwards in world football. He already would be in the elite if it wasn't for what happened at Dortmund. He turned down Madrid to join Dortmund at that time as he thought it would be better for his development. Im not sure why but he rarely played and he lost a good chunk of his development.

I thought he was good. The back 4 looked unbalanced. but that's because we are used playing with a the correct footed player in each position it was and Burns standard give a cracking chance away at the start of the game probably made them a little nervy. Can't complain at all about him for both games. He actually looks a lot better now than I've seen him.

He scores 2 or 3 when he's in usual pomp in that game. He is carrying an injury though I think. Wilson is as well. We do need a 3rd striker but to get one that competes with those 2 is going to cost more than we can afford to spend when we have issues in other areas.
