Fabricio Coloccini signed from Deportivo La Coruña on 5 year deal
relámpago blanco replied to Cronky's topic in Football
And, if our 'esteemed negotiating team' of Wise, Jimeniez and whoever, are spending all their time on this one deal - what else are they (not) doing? I am not quick to worry . . . but I am starting to wonder a bit about the future . . . ? I can't see them spending all this time on one deal. Once everything is agreed its out of their hands and up to the medical staff. I think we'll see another 1 this week. -

Nah thats was just someone trying to be funny. -
Have we been in such a mess even before a ball is kicked before ?

No but are on a par with Man U so we should beat everybody but them and draw with them. Did you know, Watford have lost to all of these, drawn with another league 2 side and another league 1 side too. Plus we've lost 4 strikers, without any form of replacement. It's going to be great next season. Nice, you need Elton back. He'd just play rocketman and you wouldnt need any strikers. -

No, no, no, no, no. He's an absolute liability that close to our own goal. he is as well mind, he's like the venom to spiderman but for DM's (i'm not that big a nerd before anyone starts!!) might as well put shola there ffs Aye you're probably right, I was half asleep and pondering why he's the worst striker I've seen and tried to convince myself he'd have a use.

Kev! news flash you need about 6 Pal Don't think we do tbh. Just need an attacking midfielder, striker and some fullback cover and were pretty much sorted. You're forgetting us needing to boot Milner and Smith out the club! They are not even good enough for cover. I think we should play Smith in front of the back 4, I saw him play there once last season and it was easily his best game not that it takes much but he did have a good game I'd still sell him if someone would take him but no-one will and if we don't get a back up for Butt it would be useful. I'd say Milner is good enough for cover he has his bad points but he's still a decent Premier League winger.

Stop with your stupid one liners and qualify yourself. He established himself in a foreign land at a young age in a struggling team with a change of management halfway through, ok he's not the best in the wolrd but he is better than most in the league. Would you rather have babyaro still because there is a lack of leftbacks in world football now as coaches train most left footers to be wingers as they are so few and far between. What would previously have been a left sided centre half are generally coached at leftbacks hense the lack of left sided centre halfs.

No doubt if he moves to Newcastle his stats will immediately drop in FM 2009, but go up if he moves anywhere else. Great how that happens. Yeah didnt happen with Luque though he was mint. -
That's alright most of the Boro fans I've spoken to seem to think he's world class and they have the cheek to call us delusional.

How the hell did you get that from that. If he says 3 big signings I doubt he means 1 or 2. basically he wnats 6... bassong for the future, jonas 1st team (1 big signing) and then it depends where you classify guthrie. equals 1 definite big name (jonas), 1 squad 4 the future (bassong) + guthrie = 3 players to buy Those quotes where from yesterday though not May. He said another 3 LIKE Bassong and another 3 Big ones.

You wouldn't be saying that if we signed him.

I don't think so, I actually think that Leindoro is in a very good position here. Now we know he travels at the end of today and he's waiting to see if we're going to up it or not, even if that doesn't happen we could still do a deal after he comes back because then he might say lets do the deal as he then realises we won't go any higher. I'm sure he will still be contactacle in Venezuela. -
Beye, shouldnt this be a poll
