You have as healthy a budget as anyone, spend as much as anyone, appoint managers that have done well elsewhere most of the time and you are still a million miles away from winning the league despite being the most successful club in the Premier League era. What I find interesting is a lot of the top clubs (Man City and maybe Arsenal aside) have a lot of issues. Man United just seems toxic and I think it'll be years before they win the league, Chelsea seem to have no plan about their future, Liverpool need a massive rebuild and Spurs are sort of middling (performances have been poor despite the results) but you could see Conte just fucking off at any point.

I don't think we discuss our system enough as it's quite hard to pin down what it is or compare it to another side, it's almost like Eddie has invented a new style even if it has similarities with other systems, Gegenpress etc. I think you can tell that Eddie has implemented a lot he learned watching Simeone in his time in Madrid. How would you describe our system? Which club/managers system is the closest approximation?

We should just play our game, we know how to play it and are well drilled. We shouldn't play to match up, we basically play with 3 centrbacks anyway in certain scenarios.
