He probably ruined his vocal chords.

Bruce will sort them out but the other two are full on Knackers.

A phrase British pudits use all the time to describe someone like Pardew, Bruce, McLaren, Allardyce or Pulis. They may have an appalling win ratio or not actually achieved anything of note but they are PROPER FOOTBALL MEN. So ignore the terrible relegation form their teams are in or give them the England job. Based purely on PFM. Always thought it was Proper Football Manager. Proper Football Men is even funnier Cheers. It does have a funny ring to it.

What grates on me about Sutton and his like, nobody ever seems to challenge their opinions. They get to spout off without challenge, which gives them a position of power for their opinions.

Its no wonder "big" English managers never feel the need to change their bradn of football, they get so much protection from ex players, ex managers and their pals in the media. I notice Sean Custis has been very quiet on the whole Big Sam fingers in the till debate. His silence is deafening.

Snobbery towards English managers? Whatever mate.

That lad was called Darren and he was killed in London by I think a group of Welsh Rugby fans. Edit : Wigan Rugby fans http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3933-newcastle-united-remembering-mad-darren Ahh fck. I was told it was swindon fans.

I remember the indian cry. I also remember a young las in the Gallowgate, below the scoreboard would always stand up on a barrier and starting somgs off. I remember someone telling me years later he was killed at a Swindon away game.

Reset the Sack-o-meter!

I must admit I didn't actually watch the video Just saw the title, and it's very misleading he's not promoting the likes over PArdew or Howe over Wenger and Ponc... like it's suggesting he's promoting the need to keep old English players in the game, which is fair enough although I really don't care if Lampard or Gerard are going to have an easier time to get their coaching badges !! Who on earth is 'Ponc'? I can't bloody spell his name, the Spuds boss "Poch" you mean?

Can't say I agree with that, his last ten minutes aside. I thought he was very assured and always in the right position today. As far as the Colback's scale goes, that was right up there. On the overall scale it was still low down there, we should be dominating the midfield so much more. Still don't agree. I hate him as much as the next guy but thought he had a good game in his role by anyone's standards. Good in what way? Sitting in front of the back 4 and mopping up play, distributing the ball well (for the most part) and generally being a grunt, doing the dogs work. Is this satire? No, just the weirdo who was defending McClaren while he was blatantly taking us down. Colback was typically s*** today. And you're just the t*** that can't accept it if people have different opinions then you, like its some sort of insult to you personally. Colback did well in his roll today. Says the poster who tbf has been the worst on the forum since the EU referendum. Pot and kettle. Wew, thats bad.
