Time we moved him on and used the money for someone who will get games in their natural position.

Odd because that lad looked a very, very good prospect a couple of years ago. Great physicality. Wouldn't be surprised if he does carve out a prem career at some point.

Do you think Shola will be offered a new playing contract at NUFC?

Dat multitasking! -
Just like us and Remy. They could replace Lukaku with Remy.

Would think Debuchey will have told his agent to find a new club. I reckon if we can get our money back then we'll let him go. Would also think MYM could be off. Pardew doesn't rate him so it would be better to sell him nsoon and see if Fat Bashley will reinvest any of that in CB he does want. Tomkins for example.

The General Chat forum? Yep. Club loyalties aren't on the agenda there, naturally enough.

Didn't Golfmag say that we already have a Colo replacement lined up?
-
Has Colo done his coaching badges?

Hithere & Stray Mackem seem decent posters to me. Hope they stick around. They'd probably get a more reasonable level of conversation if they posted a bit in General.

You seem to be under a misunderstanding. Lots of people want him sacked and replaced with someone better. Not everybody though, clearly.

It's amazing this club buys players the manager either hasn't heard of or isn't really interested in and the only way these newcomers get a look in is when cheaper players move on and they are all he's left with.

I think the problem for the F.A. is that if they let him off lightly (or what could be seen as lightly by the media) then it doesn't really set an example to players, fans, younguns, etc. It's tricky because that kind of behaviour, being out of control like that, really needs punitive reaction from the authorities. There is so much disrepect throughout the game that letting this go will send out ther wrong message. The flipside for the F.A. is that if they hit him with a long ban they're effectively getting him sacked.

Kaka. I suppose people like Sol wouldn't have known they were going to feel 'on the outside' until it was too late and they'd already commited themselves to a National team. Also, many players of different origins or heritage may just want to play for a team that may go further in a competition.

Was also glad to note he DOES own a pair of b0lloxs tbh

I'm not outraged by the incident or anything. Didn't like MoTD saying there was no provocation, there clearly was. He has embarrassed himself and the club though. Dreadful behaviour really. But then, so was Mourinho's.

He has looked better past few games imo. Had his head up a bit more and has passed it well on the whole. If he's goals were assists were better he's be very hard to drop. As it is they aren't very good and he rarely makes the team play better either. Then it's easy to see why a manager like Pardew, i.e. cautious, will start focusing on what happens when he loses the ball. I say this and he's my favourite out of the current lot but given his talent, he's not clever enough with it.

Hull are the favourites here, but don't think it's clear cut. I do think Hull might nick the game but fancy both sides to play some good football. We've looked much better away from home and Hull are in good form. Wasn't looking forward to the match in the slightest till Remy popped up last week, fancy a decent match now. Yeah, i hope it's a good game. Would love us to play like we did for the first 15 minutes against at SJP! The other 75 can be forgotten Hope we get a win. Personally, i really want us to qualify for Europe next season. Love watching us playing continental sides.

Surely they'll be boosted by that win, not satisfied. FFS, they are still professional sportsmen. It's just excuses to find to moan tbh. Same things were being said for the Villa game how players wouldn't care yet they were busting a gut for the winner last 10 minutes. I agree. If we're still inthe match with 20 minutes to go i can see it swinging our way. Away from home we've tend to come straight out from the off. It's usually been backs to the wall once we've got a lead in the second half. 2W, 2L & 1D in the last 5 away. Nothing to say we should be favourites for this. As i said, if we're level or within a goal come the last 20 i reckon our players will sense an opportunity. Pardew also might sub on someone who can pass.

Remy would be an even better player if he picked his head when he was in or around the box. Sometimes we have better options on than him just shooting into the legs of a defender.

I'll wear my lion suit so you can recognise me too.

I'd say even a bairn like Neymar has done more for Brazil than Rooney has for England. And i'm a big fan of Rooney. I doubt Rooney could have done for Spurs what Bale did for them last season. There's better out and out forwards too. Aguero for example. Rooney would be a better player if he dropped the British Bulldog bit and played the game in a clever way (of which he's more than capable). Actually, playing for a good Spanish side would probably be great for him.

How? No spending in the summer Actually asset stripping the club Bringing in JFK as permanent manager, or any of the very large number of managers with less pedigree than Pardew Going all-out Allardyce with the style of play, not even trying to do anything else (could argue a manager with a firm philosophy would be better though) There are quite a few ways really. Not sure I agree unilaterally with the 'no point changing manager if Ashley stays' thing. If Pardew somehow manages to slip to 10th, lose the dressing room in the process etc etc then he should absolutely be invited to leave. It's uncharitable to suggest we'd definitely not bring in someone good - I think it would depend a lot on who happened to be available and to what extent they were prepared to work within certain constraints re transfers etc... But that accounts for most managerial jobs in Europe, not just us. It's only old-fashioned British managers who are used to demanding control over the transfer policy. No Summer spending Sell your best players without the slightest intention of replacing them Bring JFK in as DoF, every football related decision at the club has to go through him. That's 2013/14. Your vision of 'a lot worse' doesn't sound much different to what's happened tbh. Still, if that's what you're content with... That "without the slightest intention" is pure speculation, and I don't think JFK had THAT much control. Not spending this summer would scare me in a way that previous windows certainly didn't. Why? Why wasn't it a worry last summer? Why was Anita, a player Pardew would NEVER choose had he any say in it, as a sole summer signing the year before not bring any cause for worry? Signing no one or no one useful to the manager the past 2 summers hasn't been a problem for you but if it happens a 3rd time it might? Don't fret, i reckon you'll find a way to justify it.

Taylor is sh*te when the ball goes wide. Quite a glaring weakness for a CB.
