Honestly, this is all totally wrong. I’ll explain why later.
-
that’s what he does best - he was inportant for us because he carried the ball up the pitch, and was particularly useful cutting in from the left. You’re right, he was seen more kindly for being ‘one of us’ but that’s nothing like enough to explain why we liked him. He was a very decent player for us, but one with awful injury luck, and not worth 40m (being totally honest).
-
This js definitely true. was surprised we got so much for him, though, tbh. Although as I said the other day, he’s a quality player.

It is also important to remember what Forest were before Clough, as a club. To do what he did with them was just incredible. They also played some great football. Possession football, nothing particularly extravagant, but they'd move the ball around so quickly with neat passes, playing little triangles all down the pitch. And if anyone other than John Robertson ever tried to take players on via the dribbling route, Clough would go bat-shit.
-
John Robertson was just one piece of proof for what a fucking genius Brian Clough was.

Well, yes, it is proper weird. Although maybe Emery doesn't trust him for one reason or the other? Perhaps he finds his (frankly unacceptable) hair unacceptable? I'd trust Unai no matter what he says TBH. I love him.

What a great player he was (as anyone in their 50s or older will tell you). Little squat fat fucker who loved the tabs. Great player.

Villa and Liverpool over Harvey Elliot. There's some weird, weird shit going on there.

she is an absolute turbocunt of the highest order.

He looks good to me. I'd swap him for Watkins right now.

Gerd Muller, the absolute finest poacher of all time. Practically invented poaching.

OMG that's that cunt who demolished us in the Conference League.
-
That’s really not true. Rogers until 4 or 5 matches ago had been awful all season and the latter part of last season. Most of us (inc me) could not believe Emery picked him every single match.
-
We just find a way to win even when we play badly, that’s what I like. We were poor at home to wolves recently but ground one out. We were then excellent against Arsenal. You can’t win every match being brilliant every time. Ironically, given today’s opponents, over the years - until Ferguson left - Man United did exactly that season after season. This team over the last few years, and especially this season, have given me the same excitement levels I had with Atkinson’s side, the league winners, and the first Saunders side (which was better than the league winners imo), and all those sides too knew several ways to win matches. We have won 16 out of our last 18 matches in all competitions, that’s remarkable, no matter what armies of beard stroking XG loving YouTubers may think. I just wish we hadn’t spent the first five matches being so shite.

That is the most obvious, clear penalty i have ever seen. That's an absolute joke.
-
He was with us since he was 7 or 8 years old, as were both his brothers (and the one still is), he's only ever been the one place. He's going to need time to settle, but he will show his quality. He's a very good player, he just looks a bit fish out of water at the moment.

When WE are winning, Toony, WE.
-
We seem to have changed our mentality and adopt a never give up thing which wasn't there last season. Insane to think our, what, first four or five games we were terrible.
-
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

He's a quality player, but he had two problems with us - maintaining his consistency (more of a problem when we started buying better players, might be a confidence thing), and his massive bad luck with injuries. He's had a recurring foot problem from when he broke his foot playing for England U21s when some cunt stamped on him. I really like JJ, though, and so do almost all Villa fans. We were gutted when he was the PSR sacrificial lamb last summer (although I can understand why it was him).
-
What a fucking great run of results.
-
4th in the league is pretty remarkable, given we didn't start the season until October.
-
I understand the thing about chimneys and Digbeth history and architecture but I can't get over those fucking tramps thinking they're going to look anything other than stupid with 30,000 empty seats.

Doomed. Terrible owners.

When we took a point off them at our place last season , he was incredibly ungracious. He questioned the short firework display before kick off (done at almost all games) and implied it was something we only did for Liverpool's visit. He is like every single Liverpool manager ever - starts off, he's ok, inside a season he's an insufferable arrogant cunt. Slot is a turbocunt.
